Complete Makeover: A Seven-step Process to Transforming Your Life
()
About this ebook
Everyone wants a better life. Regardless of your definition of a "better life," Bachir Bastien, a trained life coach, and writer, shares seven proven and actionable techniques to teach you how to create and maintain a more fulfilling and happier lifestyle.
Complete Makeover: A Seven-Step Process to Transforming Your Life is guaranteed to deliver results for three major reasons. First, the book is uniquely concise. Bastien conceived his 101-page book to enable you to gain the relevant information to reach your goal with no excessive and complex scientific and historic details. You don't need to be a life transformation expert to change your life. All you need is a manual that provides you with practical, science-based, and field-tested strategies to revolutionize your life one step at a time.
Second, the strategies presented in this book have gone through four years of extensive experimentation before publication. Before publishing a Complete Makeover, Bastien has applied those techniques to several real-world situations where they have proven effective in helping individuals from all walks of life design fuller, more joyous lives. Therefore, Bastien is confident you will find those materials effective to help you take your life to the next level.
Third, Bastien departs from popular beliefs that success is only possible at the expense of our health and relationship with loves ones. Our life is a system that can never be reduced to a single goal. For us to create successful life changes, we must ensure we are not setting goals that are positive in one aspect and bring chaos to others. To stay true to that ideal, Bastien wrote this book to teach you how to achieve success while caring for your well-being and relationships with kith and kins.
In summary, after reading this book, you will be able to:
>>>Enjoy a higher sense of purpose and self-discipline to focus your time and energy where it matters most.
>>>Take action even when you don't feel motivated
>>>Gain new skills to reach your goals
>>>Build greater resilience and adaptability to cope with life challenges
>>>And much more

Complete Makeover - Bachir Bastien
Introduction
When was I the most courageous? If you asked me, I would give you the standard answer I have given since late 2017. The most resolute I have ever been is authoring this book. With no training, no significant background in writing, or a mentor’s support, the intention of completing a book seemed to be absolute madness. Where do I get my ideas? What expertise do I have that’s worth sharing? Who will buy my book? In light of these questions, I experienced, for the first time, tremendous excitement, which is great, along with a heavy dose of fear. Despite the latter emotion, I was determined to press on.
It is always commendable to open a motivational book with a catchy story from an ultra-achiever. What better method to spark anyone’s sense of I can-ness?
Stories of Steve Jobs, Nelson Mandela, and Mozart are what one would expect from a self-help book. They are the heroes we look up to for inspiration. But wait, that’s my work. My accomplishments should be the most powerful approach to connect with my readers. That sudden realization catapulted me to my room, searching the archives of my mind for my larger-than-life deeds. The thrill of starting my book by counting my successes filled my heart with joy.
Within minutes, my trip down memory lane had taken me all the way back to when I was five, reminiscing about every minor achievement I have ever had. However, the more I strived to write, the bigger my despondency grew as I began to realize that my tales were not as inspiring as I imagined. It took less than an hour for my inner doubts to drown out my enthusiasm completely. The world does not recognize me as having survived a plane crash. Unlike many famous authors, I never launched a multi-billion-dollar business. The Guinness Book of World Records does not include Bachir Bastien as one of the fastest to climb El Capitan. Obviously, becoming the first in my family to earn a master’s degree in a foreign land is praiseworthy. But what is there to write about? A century ago, this would be far-fetched, but globalization coupled with the affordability of cloud-based technologies has made earning a degree more accessible than ever.
I became even more discouraged. There I was, writing an inspirational book with no phenomenal attainment to show for it. Amidst all the negative chatters, I realized I was badly off base. I was going against everything I wanted to convey in this book, which is that the present manual is intended for ordinary folks like me who dare to dream they can have a more fulfilling future. It’s for the student whose passion for basketball drives him to practice religiously and, despite feeling inadequate, believes he can join the NBA. I wrote this book for the office worker who is hustling to raise a family, taking lessons at night, knowing that one day she, too, can build her company. If the immensity of your ambition scares you, this book is for you.
The primary purpose of any book is to awaken readers to their inner geniuses. My objective in drafting this text is no different. If my lack of experience can help enrich someone’s soul by putting them in touch with their inexhaustible source of energy, why not try? If a common employee, with no extraordinary achievements, has dared to write a book, why would you shelve your dreams waiting for the perfect time to start? Why would a student let the fear of criticism stop them from sending that application to their chosen school? Or a prospective entrepreneur let the dread of rejection hinder them from getting started on their business idea?
What This Book Can Do Through You
I designed this manual to be among the most comprehensive and practical books on life transformation you will ever read. By fully partaking in the materials provided within the pages of this book, you will develop the insights to do more with less, build resilience, learn to stay focused, improve your capacity for joy and happiness, and more. The essence of living is growth, and so I conceived this book with that idea in mind. At the very core, we are goal-oriented beings. The issue is not whether we are setting goals, but whether it’s happening with our conscious awareness. Most of our objectives are dictated by others with little or no involvement on our part; daddy chooses what career their daughter should pursue; mommy decides who their son should marry; the college student claims they love baseball only because they want to fit in. I could continue indefinitely, but you get the picture. By picking this book, you assume control; you decide to set, gain, and sustain your most coveted goals. You become the captain of your ship instead of a mere passenger. The beauty of assuming charge is that you claim your birthright to experience a more satisfying, merrier, and richer existence. I wrote through you,
rather than for you
to caution you that while I wrote this book, I don’t
