I just love writing stories for children and YA’s. My ultimate goal is to sell enough stories that I can throw in the towel on my day job. I enjoy working in finance, don’t get me wrong, but I have two children and simply not enough time to spend with them; so obviously I am well motivated to succeed in my writing career.In addition to publishing several English titles on different sales platforms, I have also branched out into audiobooks.. I feel that branching into the audiobooks market certainly gives my listeners more depth into the stories and will keep their attention for long enough whenever they are presented to them. 1 - A Fast Cheetah Called Peter

A fast cheetah called Peter went for a prowl in the jungle one day when he met an alligator.

Hello Mr Alligator what’s your name, asked Peter.

My name is Andy the Alligator and I am really fast!

I’m a fast cheetah called Peter and I am the fastest animal in this jungle, shouted Peter!

I don’t think you are, said Andy the Alligator.

Shall we have a race and see, asked Peter.

So Andy the Alligator and the fast Cheetah called Peter lined up and had a race.

The fast Cheetah called Peter beat Andy the Alligator by a long way!

Waiting for Andy the Alligator to reach the finish line the fast Cheetah called Peter turned to Andy the Alligator and said "I told you I was the fastest animal in this jungle! Andy agreed and skulked away!

The fast cheetah called Peter continued to prowl in the jungle until he met a jaguar.

Hello Mr Jaguar what is your name, asked Peter.

My name is Jack the Jaguar and I am really fast!

I’m a fast cheetah called Peter and I am the fastest animal in this jungle, shouted Peter!

I don’t think you are, said Jack the Jaguar.

So Jack the Jaguar and the fast Cheetah called Peter lined up and had a race.

Waiting for Jack the Jaguar to reach the finish line the fast Cheetah called Peter turned to Jack the Jaguar and said I told you I was the fastest animal in this jungle! Jack agreed and skulked away!

The fast cheetah called Peter continued to prowl in the jungle until he met another cheetah.

Hello Lady Cheetah what’s your name, asked Peter?

My name’s Rita the Super- fast Cheetah and I am really fast!

I’m a fast cheetah called Peter and I’m the fastest animal in this jungle, shouted Peter!

I don’t think you are, said Rita the Super- fast Cheetah.

Shall we have a race and see, asked Peter?

So Rita the Super- fast Cheetah and the fast Cheetah called Peter lined up and had a race.

Rita the Super- fast Cheetah beat Peter to the finish line!

There’s a reason I’m known as Rita the Super- fast Cheetah, said Rita!

You are fast Peter although you should remember that there is always somebody faster or stronger than you are! Peter smiled; then sighed! Yes, agreed, I don’t think I will be racing with such arrogance in future but that was a good race.

Peter and Rita then prowled off together into the sunset.
