Some people seem to have been born with the gift of persuasion, while others train tirelessly to, perhaps one day, be good at it.

    The act of persuading is, in short, the act of convincing. Do you know someone who gets everything they want through a good chat? This person can be classified as a persuasive person. Obviously, some use this incredible skill for good while others for evil.

    I want to make it clear that I designed this book to help people who want to have a better quality of life by reaching certain goals in an honest way. I don't want to lead you to become a manipulator, far from it! My interest is to help those who are insecure and/or confused in their expressions and, as a consequence, are unable to sell, pass a job interview, convey the truth, etc.

    There are no major complexities when it comes to persuasion. It is not magic or dishonest tricks. Convincing someone about something depends exclusively on how you present yourself to the senses of the one who sees, hears and feels you. I can say that persuasion is closely linked to stimuli and how they are interpreted.

    Learning to persuade does not mean that all doors will be opened and no one else will escape your convincing clutches. This is not how things work. The effectiveness of an argument will also depend on the target individual's life story. As fascinating as you are when it comes to convincing, you may fail when trying to sell a fish to a vegetarian.

    The persuasive subject is skilled not only with the use of words, clothes or gestures. He can read people. Any acquired information is an advantage. Assuming that your client appears to like simple things, it would be a great sin to offer him the most elegant apartment in the neighbourhood. It doesn't make sense.

    You have to realize that persuasion is a set of skills: being eloquent, observant, calm and a strategist. It may look like a seven-headed monster, but it isn't. It takes practice, of course, but persuasion is attainable by anyone who really wants it.

    In the next few pages of this simple book, we will cover everything from basic concepts to world-renowned techniques. Read without haste and gradually understand.
