About this ebook

This is a fairly easy step by step beginner friendly knitting pattern to help you make a nice and warm knit pixie hat. The pattern comes in 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months, 2-4 years and 4 years to adult sizes. You can make a matching hat for everyone! You can make a hat with regular knit ties, with wide knit ties, or you can add a button tab and have it fastened with two buttons below the chin. This pattern’s gauge is 19 stitches in 4 inches / 10cm over stockinette stitch, it is designed for Worsted weight yarn. For most, 4.5mm (7 US) knitting needles will be the most suitable to knit this. There is a list of recommended yarns and recommended needle size for each yarn included in the pattern, yet treat that as a recommendation only. Please check the recommended needle size on your yarn label and make your gauge sample to make sure you end up making a knit garment that really fits! The hat is knit flat.
