Tumi’s Education
Friendly, amorous and intelligent little boy; Tumi was living in the forest of Mogabuta village. He was a lean, short and dark little boy. He made an amazing house on the top of a tree; his house was camouflaging with the environment. He became a master of hunting during his childhood, he was forced to begin hunting during his green ages. He was a very good relationship maker, where he made a good relationship toward animals. He was living in God will; he was a Christian believer. He lost his parents during the world war, then he managed to escape the tragedy. One day he decided to take some extra miles than he used to take before. He was hunting in hope of catching a rabbit, unfortunately rabbit never show up. He later saw people moving, it was his first time to reach there. Tumi saw a young girl walking on the main road wearing black shoes, black skirt, blue t-shirt and carrying a back bag. who is she and where is she going?
Tumi asked. He decided to follow her, he did not know where he is going. He followed the young girl to the school; in following her without no clue where is going, in the walk he saw a furious man standing at the gate. The man was shouting out loud ‘’ why are you coming late to school?’’ asked the man. Tumi found it abusive, he decided to take a stand for the girl. That man was a principal of Mogabuta primary school. The principal saw him coming to them, Tumi was accelerating. Principal asked his learners that, who is he and where is he coming from. Nobody had any clue about that. hey, old man, what are you doing?
Tumi asked. Principal gave order to enter the gate of the school, he wants to attend Tumi’s situation. Oh, who are you brave one and where are you come from
principal asked politely. I come from bad site, where nobody knows except me
he said. Principal said that please follow me to my office. On the way to the office he asked that what’s your name my boy. I am Tumi and you sir?
Tumi replied. Principal asked that okay Tumi where are you schooling or attending my boy? What is that sir, your name or what?
he asked. Tumi was having no idea about school.
what?
he asked. I say how can I school, do I look like a fish or what sir
he said. Principal with his big eyes asked that how you know that, but you don’t know school of learner. Oh, now I understand this is how it look like, but is not what is it
Tumi said. Tumi what do you mean with those words, am lost my son
principal said. I am just referring to what I read about school
he said. Principal asked that what it is about a school. Tumi began quoting from the book principal was using in his master’s degree. Principal was amazed, his mouth was wide opened; he was not believing. what principal, you think I am lying; I can go and show you the book
he said. Tumi was feeling bad to see principal looking bad. my son is not that, the point is that what you are saying is the answer to my last paper I wrote in my master’s degree
principal said. you have master’s degree; wow you do good; I wish one day I can have one
Tumi said. He was inspired by anyone when he was reading the book. My son I want to meet your parents or any family member
principal requested. Tumi happily agreed to that, he said that tomorrow he will bring his family members in numbers to the school. Principal and Tumi departed, where Tumi went home happily. Tumi when he enters the forest, he screamed loud, animals danced with him. He was using a bird to communicate with them; he ordered a bird to call the meeting. The meeting was set in the evening, Tumi was sitting tall in his tree house. He told them about the meeting with someone special, so they must bath and eat in the early morning. Tumi prepared the questions he was keen to know their answers. In the early morning a roster woke them up. Tumi woke up and prepare himself for the meeting. He wore his best treasures, the clothes and shoes made from animals’ skin. He cloths were very beautiful, especially wooden shoes. The suit was having a normal design of the modern suit. His Shoes were combination of wood and animal skin. It was about the time to go to the school. Tumi fronted the crew out of the forest, having bird on his shoulder. Animals which were chosen were baboon, bear and springbok. They managed to arrive one hour before the actual time. They decided to sit in the bush to wait for him to come.’’ Where is everybody tumi?’’ asked bird.
