Poker Of Aesthetics - Cinzia Chiappini

    Poker of Aesthetics

Fairy tales for women 18 to 118 years of age.

A great circus, the tent, made of small bottles of nail polish surmounted by a flag with the inscription: W THE BEAUTY. On the sides of the open curtains, there are two beauty lamps. Next to them, there are two women, one young and the other old. A man with a turban is laying on a massage table and is keeping his legs crossed, while an odalisque is dancing beside him. Above them, there is a round spaceship that is releasing fragrances all around. Oh, Beauty! Our most ancient and profound sense!

    Acknowledgments

I would like to express my special thanks to my brother who has always encouraged me to keep quiet, urging me to say silently everything I had to say. He reminded me how much I liked to read and how my passion could be a good inspiration for those who have so much to say, so that he no longer had to bear me.

Also, I would like to thank all friends and relatives who helped and supported me on this journey, believing that I could do it.

    Dedication

Thank you, my love, to exist. You are a constant source of inspiration for me, always joyful and passionate as you are. I wish you cultivate your positivity for the rest of your life.

    With love,

    Your grandmother.

    To my nephew Lorenzo.

    Preface

Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events in these stories is purely coincidental. Every reference comes from the memories of my life that the mind has drawn from the experiences I have acquired over the years. My intention was to interpret the world of beauty farms through the imaginative stories of Olga, which are stories in the third person embellished with pills of historical curiosity and some technical notions. Olga is whoever you want. She is a character described in four different ways, in order to differentiate various situations in life with the only constant of her name.

To you, the army of women coming down to the front to make sure you always stay tidy. To you, the troupe of dancers who love performing with eccentricity and appearing at the top of the feminine on the big stage of your own reality. And to you, the readers, I hope to make you live relaxing moments, a bit like in children’s fairy tales.

A long time ago, in a distant country ... no, this is not the story. We are in Italy, in the big city of Rome ... Olga wishes you a pleasant and enjoyable reading, thanking each of you for the choice.

N.B.: The Lord God mentioned in some pages is absolutely not intended in a religious sense, but it is used as a figurative expression.

    Massage

If this story were a film it would be titled Three Days of the Condor

Massage is an ancient art practised for the healing of mental or spiritual diseases – it elevates the spirit at high altitudes – and physical illnesses, since it is a natural gesture to relieve pain as well as being a beauty ritual. More than seven thousand years ago this extraordinary art has been practised in India, handed down through the ancient text of Ayur-Veda. According to Eastern philosophy, the body is said to be crossed by a series of energy channels called Meridians. Among the best known of them are the Seven Chakras, which are arranged vertically along the spine, precisely where the energy flows. Each of them is associated with a colour, an element, mineral stones, scents, disorders etc. They absorb energy and then distribute life force to your organs. They are:

    First Chakra

    Colour:  red

    Element: Earth

    Stones: hematite, black onyx...

    Scents: sandalwood…

    Disorders: material problems…

    Second Chakra

    Colour:  orange

    Element: Water

    Stones: carnelian, bull’s eye...

    Scents: lavender…

    Disorders: sex problems…

    Third Chakra

    Colour: yellow

    Element: Fire

    Stones: yellow topaz, tiger’s eye...

    Scents: pine…

    Disorders: self-esteem issues…

    Fourth Chakra

    Colour: green

    Element: Air

    Stones: moonstone, rose quartz...

    Scents: lemon balm…

    Disorders: love problems…

    Fifth Chakra

    Colour: blue

    Element: Ether

    Stones: turquoise...

    Scents: chamomile…

    Disorders: sore throat, communication problems…

    Sixth Chakra

    Colour:  indigo

    Element: Light

    Stones: lepidolite...

    Scents: thyme…

    Disorders: sinusitis…

    Seventh Chakra

    Colour: violet

    Element: Thought

    Stones: diamond, amethyst...

    Scents: angelica…

    Disorders: spiritual problems, headache…

In the West, massage is a Greek-Roman heritage. In fact, Hippocrates – the father of modern medicine – described the virtue of massage for analgesic therapy on joints and muscle tone. The Romans, who loved relaxation and well-being, used to get massaged in the thermal baths. And Galen – a doctor from ancient Rome – wrote several texts about the excellent result that a massage can have on the body, even suggesting it to gladiators. It is an art so important for health that has united the whole world since the beginning of time.

Massage is a team game of the human senses which, if in perfect harmony and synchronism, is invincible to enter an enjoyable ecstasy. The beautician has the difficult duty of leading the game pleasantly and elegantly, trying to unleash emotions and creating an exchange of positive energies, in order to create a lovely and fulfilling parallel reality. The reception of the customer takes place, first of all, with taste. Clients are invited to taste sweet and relaxing herbal teas, anti-stress infusions, aromatic herbs etc.
