    Introducing The Silent Wife

The Silent Wife revolves heavily around different concepts of psychology and mentions the different forefathers of psychology quite often. Even Jodi's dog was named after a famous psychologist—Freud. His fear of Natashaーhis mistressーleaving him made him a slave to her every whim. Natasha pressured Todd into leaving Jodi as soon as possible for fear that he might return to Jodi any time. Consequently, Dean, Natasha's father and Todd’s friend, feared for his daughter's future leading him to do what he did toward the book’s conclusion. The story revolved around fear that manifested in different forms for the main and supporting characters. The story shows numerous flashbacks of Todd's and Jodi's lives in the past, which were mostly when they were still wildly in love with each other and how they realized that they couldn't live without each other. The story also gave a glimpse of Todd's life at work, his
