Ben and Rashida

AND THE WINNER FOR this years’ Best Supporting Actor in a drama mini series goes to... Ben Allington!

Seeing the camera swirl past him was the only reason he managed to take his eyes off of Rashida Queen. Ben kept thinking back to when he was helping her pick out a dress for this award show and then watching her slowly get undressed after her glam squad left.  The way her eyes danced with desire as he lifted her effortlessly from the barstool chair and quickly onto her countertop table made him feel incredible.

Rashida was easily the best meal I had all week. He mused before smiling at the camera now in front of him and his co-star.

FEELING HIS GAZE MADE her more nervous than the live audience in front of the stage. Rashida knew that Ben was watching her just a few feet away as she read from the teleprompter. Smiling out at each section of the star-struck crowd, her thoughts were confirmed when she looked over to his seat and Ben winked as their eyes met.

Her hands carefully opened the envelope and Rashida read the name twice to herself before speaking into the microphone.

That crazy mutha - he actually won his first nomination. Watch him try and act a fool tonight! she thought with a smile.

Rashida joined the audience as they all began clapping for Ben, who was still walking towards the center stage to accept his award. She followed the cameraman that was closest to her, and in the lens, Rashida could see that Ben’s full attention was on her backside. Taking the stairs two at a time to stand next to Rashida and accepting his award,  Rashida looked at Ben fondly as the grin that she had come to love showed up on his face. With only a few feet left between them, she couldn’t help but stroll over to him with a confident lean in her step. Not to be outdone, Ben attempted to mimic her. A full out laugh came from her lips as he matched her steps with his own silly swagger.

Yeah, he’s going to be trouble tonight, with his cute ass.

BEN REACHED OUT TO take Rashida’s face into his hands before he noticed a finely arched brow rise up from her almond eyes.

Remembering where they were and the agreement that the two of them made about their dating status, Ben lowered his hands before sharing a brief hug with Rashida instead. With his ego slightly bruised, Ben waited for her to release him from their embrace before he walked several more feet to the podium and picked up his award.

He proceeded to give a short acceptance speech, lacking in his previous merriment, but remembering to thank all those that worked on set with him for the role of Clay from Bitter Men.

Hopeful thoughts of celebrating later with Rashida kept him from full out brooding, so his smile was genuine as he turned to leave the stage. Though as he turned to be directed off stage, he found himself standing directly in front of Rashida. And with the exit music playing throughout the building, his former co-star tilted her head up towards his cheek, leaving a small trace of her red lipstick.

Did she really just - she did! he thought gleefully.

Not one for wasting a moment, Ben touched his freshly kissed cheek and then brought his hand to his heart before jumping into the air in excitement. The crowd cheered for him again as the two left the stage with the help of an assistant. The stage assistant directed them down the hallway and behind a second set of deep green curtains. Once they were behind the curtains of the waiting room, Ben lifted Rashida into the air, and
