About this ebook
Do you still believe in Unicorns?
So, you are in your twenties and believe you know the ropes for success in love and relationships right? Think again! The ignorance of youth is bliss indeed. Your twenties are supposed to be the prime of your life, the most vital, the most powerful. It's also the time of life when you're making your most critical decisions, and sometimes your most critical life changing mistakes.
If you've had any amount of complexity in your childhood, or worse, you're sitting on a Pandora's box of hidden family trauma that you haven't dealt with, the prime of life can hit back hard when it comes to dating, love, and relationships with a jab or left uppercut to the body that leaves you reeling and hanging on the ropes. One of the most damaging mistakes we can make is to erroneously believe we can outwit or outrun our familial background, the pool of interrelatedness in which we were unwittingly immersed for the first couple of decades of life. Choosing a partner in ignorance is a treacherous road that is begging for trouble.
Step out of the darkness of the unthought known, shake it off and take a moment to discover precious gems of insight and simple science of Attachment, the well-documented science of human interrelatedness. Get to know yourself, identify your interpersonal strengths and winning qualities in life and love. Own it!
Anna Maria Anderson is a Certified Interpersonal Relationship and Personality Science Trainer, and a Harvard Law School, Program on Negotiation, Certified Mediator. She has spent the better part of my life (literally decades!) mentoring, coaching, and teaching others (especially youth and young adults) how to better their lives by creating winning outcomes in life and love.
The older we get, the more we realize how much we don't know. Worse yet, how much we don't know about ourselves. YAAAAS! Woke Dating 101 will give you a quick and dirty basic understanding of Attachment science and ten simple rules to navigate your journey in finding a suitable and companionable life partner. Take a few moments to educate yourself so that you can change lanes quickly when on a collision course of pair bonding in life and love. YAAAAS! Woke Dating 101 will help you successfully avoid Ms./Mr. Crazy at all costs and launch you on a trajectory of win-win life outcomes in loving well.

Pocket Survival Guide to Dating
Millennials make up the largest group out on the hunt for a life partner, and the lion’s share—about 50% of single Millennials—are looking online. In other words, it seems the vast majority are looking in merely two places: online and in the bar or club. Millennials have led the charge on transforming affairs of the heart by making online dating universally accepted, legitimate, and normalized and Gen Z are following closely on their heels. However, in the cyber sea of instant gratification, hook up culture, and just-for-fun gamers, there are a few cautionary tales to note of when it comes to making a meaningful connection, whether online, when bellying up to the bar, or dancing down the grocery aisle searching for Prince Albert in a can.
This guide is to educate Millennials and upcoming Gen Z’s who have few, if any, problematic Attachment traits. No worries, you’ll find out what I mean by Attachment traits
later. The goal? To help you identify yourself, to truly own and validate your personal win-win qualities, and to help you guard that array of qualities with your life so that you can not only survive in, but expertly navigate through the killing fields of dating.
Of course, there are a plethora of self-help books out there for figuring out how to fix
relationship problems and problem partners.
This is NOT that book!
So, why did I feel compelled to write this book? Because I’ve witnessed with my own eyes young couples, each being highly intelligent, educated, and successful, exhibit profound ignorance of what outcomes they are barreling toward together. They are on the road to a sure thing: a lose-lose outcome in their relationship! Without being
