    Community + ism (Ummah)

We have talked about the rights of the individual, but Islam also stresses the responsibilities of the individual to the community (the Ummah) as the community is also a family each person has responsibilities to one another.  This concept of Ummah could reference a small community, such as a Bedouin clan, or humanity entire.  One such Hadith reads as follows: Everyone of you is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock. For instance, under Islamic law, each person is responsible for the safety and well-being of everyone else, regardless of faith, culture, or ethnicity.  If you see a person getting attacked or a crime in progress, you have a responsibility to your societal family to take charge and act.¹ These responsibilities are not enforced through the law, but rather between a person and their Creator.  However, because of the community nature of Islam, these laws shield a person from being prosecuted under such circumstances, considering their motivations for the actions they took.  For this reason, the Good Samaritan law has been established.

Note as this is a law and not part of our Constitution this allows humanity to expand it with time so that the full essence and evolution of Ummah may become integrated into society.  This responsibility to be a Good Samaritan through Ummah extends to all the needs of your brother (or your sister) to clothe them when they are naked, to feed them when they are hungry, to care for them when they are sick, to hold them up when they are feeling low. All of humanity is your family and connected to you through Allah as if they were your actual brother or sister.  This desire to become our brother’s keeper demonstrates the character of Abraham as now extended through his children: the Arab people.  Upon this socialist foundation, I am going to attempt to construct the Kingdom of Abraham’s hopes and dreams.  If you speak to a western capitalist, you would be under the impression that ummah is synonymous with socialism and is thus inefficient and impractical, however, it is important to recognize that ummah through socialism offers an efficiency through shared resources that capitalism does not.  For instance, under capitalism anyone who wants a material possession, such as a bike, boat, guitar, etc. may work hard and purchase the exact possession they want, or can afford, however, for most people due to the demands of the capitalist system for perpetual labor rarely get to enjoy the fruits of their labor and the possession ends up in the garage collecting dust.  Through socialism, all objects are shared so that while the possessions would be few in quantity and perhaps not exactly what the person may have been looking for, the possessions that are available are shared by the group so that rather than collecting dust in the garage they are continually in use.  Take clothing, for example, in capitalist society, often parents will spend hundreds of dollars on clothes for their children, but the child grows and then the clothes are of no value.  By handing down clothes that no longer fit to a younger child in the community, the life of the clothes may be extended for many years.  This is the way a family operates.  It is much more efficient and produces less waste to meet the family’s needs in mass collectively than individually.  This is because the capitalist focuses on the needs of the individual, while the socialist looks at the needs of the collective group or the community.  The capitalist sees each family with their own home and yard, while the socialist sees a large dormitory with a shared park, playground, community pool, gardens, and perhaps a nature center with trails that all can enjoy.  This is because the collective reward has the potential to surpass the individual reward. Collectively the group has the capacity to afford greater things than any one individual.  For example, collectively, the group could purchase the materials and build a workshop with all the woodworking equipment available in the market, complete with computer designed wood carving equipment. While this may not be cost-effective for the individual, nevertheless it is easily within the scope and budget of the family community.

So, then, the question emerges how is collective pay to be paid?  Each halo is tasked with providing a need of Fantasia, for instance, the Phoenix Halo is tasked with providing the power infrastructure of Fantasia, the Agricultural Halo with food and meals, the Transportation Halo with transportation needs, etc. However, one halo is set apart for Fantasia itself.  The commission of the Wonderland Halo is Fantasia itself as the task of Wonderland is to provide, not only the necessities of life, housing, and clothes, but also the collective pay through recreational and other needs within Fantasia so that its members may enjoy the fullness of life.  The Wonderland Halo, therefore, represents the pinnacle hopes and aspirations of the socialist.  The greater the success of the Wonderland Halo the more volunteers will want to be a part of the Fantasia community and the more potential employees will be drawn away from the private sector, thus Wonderland is the fighting arm of socialism in the Love Orb, and its success or failure falls on the shoulders of one shepherd.

Each shepherd represents a part of the Fantasia community responsible for the large portions of higher education, infrastructure, and research facilities for large portions of the population.  Each shepherd is required to provide for his or her Fantasia family (we do not call them employees) in line with their jurisdictional responsibilities.  However, while it is the shepherd that budgets his or her respective halo within Fantasia and evaluates which projects are ultimately undertaken, the Fantasia community collectively has the reigns as to how the available resources are allocated.  To ensure each project lives up to the standards of a resurrected and born-again Israel upon its completion, as well as six months thereafter, the shire fellowships affected by the project are required to conduct their own investigation.  Once the lords have completed their investigation, they will call a town-hall meeting so that people can hear the results of the lord’s investigation and share their concerns related to the project and determine if the needs of their community have truly been met. At the conclusion of the town-hall meeting, the lord will publicly render his grade for the project.  Any grade rendered will collectivity assign itself to all members of Fantasia that participated in the project as well as the shepherd.  Thus, grading of Fantasia is not only done internally but externally as well.  It would be expected that shepherds with poor scores throughout the Kingdom would not be re-elected by their respective realms. The greater responsibility a member of Fantasia has on any given project the greater the weight the score will be either for or against them, so that those with the highest-ranking scores from the Kingdom will take on the most prestigious projects.  By giving the public and local government a voice in the grading process, our hope is to weed out nepotism and friendship bias as a means of advancement within Fantasia. Also, remember that unlike the capitalist system members of Fantasia are not assigned projects, they volunteer for projects, so that each unknown person can find their own calling based on their ability, rather than through wasta (who they know in the food chain).

As the shepherds are unable to increase their funding, each Shepherd will need to utilize socialism, using shared resources for the maximum benefit of all the family of Fantasia or their volunteers will leave to the private sector.  After all, the demands upon Fantasia are extensive providing free healthcare, electricity, water, public transportation, etc. to the public, Fantasia must provide superior living conditions if they hope to attract the highest quality volunteers.  The term volunteer is used because the members of Fantasia do not receive individual paychecks, as is done in the private sector, but rather they receive an intellectual benefit, in terms of educational degrees, as well as a collective benefit.  To accomplish such a collective benefit Fantasia must allow them to live full and productive lives, having all their needs met, without the financial anxieties built into the capitalistic system.  The needs of the ummah go beyond food and shelter to include the full diversity of all the elements within Fantasia, and in providing for these collective needs, society is also benefiting collectively. Of course, for Fantasia to meet these collective demands (providing electricity, water, etc. for all) society will need to learn to use restraint, to turn off the lights, water, and other utilities when they are not in use, not because they want to save money, but rather for the benefit of society as well as the planet.  What we are endeavoring to create is a home in our society for the socialist built upon socialist ideology and strengths, a place they can choose to call their own.

Now Fantasia is supported by the local governments as well as the international government through the Prince, and both the local governments and the Prince are supported through taxation which is derived from the capitalistic system.  As you read in the previous section, a highly competitive, free market system so that our capitalist remains represented in society as well.  Communism attempted to offer a collective reward, while capitalism offered an individual reward.  Without an individual reward, often people in the communist society, because they offered no individual incentive would do the bare minimum to get by, unfortunately as production and efficiency decreased on the individual level the collective benefits to the whole could not be achieved as designed.  Furthermore, because you could not fire people out of the system, but only move them to undesirable locations, such as Siberia, the inefficiency in the system was not rooted out, but only migrated from location to location.  Fantasia functions differently as it is based on an evolution of the university system, therefore one’s performance is graded, except rather than training in the classroom, experience is more on-the-job-training, but this on-the-job training is also evaluated and graded so that those who are unable or unwilling to complete their assignments or score well on their examinations flunk out.  As may also recall when unemployment goes up, funding to Fantasia increases, and when unemployment goes down, funding to Fantasia decreases.  Therefore, as funding fluctuates and Fantasia needs to decrease its size the standards required of students increase causing students with mediocre grades to be shed from Fantasia and put back into the private sector, encouraging students to excel, while retaining the best and hardest working students to maintain and advance the responsibilities of the realm. The reverse is also true, rather than economic rewards, those with the highest grades as well as the support of the Fantasia community could advance to higher tasks and\or levels of leadership.  The early tribes functioned as a community, each person carrying their own weight, out of a necessity to survive.  The grading system carries over this survival mentality as Fantasia will survive collectively, or it will die collectively.  If it dies collectively a new ummah will need to be established, but the failures of the old ummah will need to be investigated to see where the underlying problems originated and how such problems could be better dealt with in the future.

Our pursuit is to achieve a pure communist environment through volunteerism, utilizing shared resources for Fantasia’s expenses, which, by comparison to the private sector, should remain very low.  In short, Fantasia has the potential to obtain the pure communist infrastructure that the Soviet Union, Communist China, or any other communist nation could ever achieve.  All in all, Fantasia represents an evolved socialist competitor for the human labor force in competition with the private sector.  If Fantasia can offer humanity a better option in line with the greater good, beyond what the private sector can offer then a new socialist society based upon the love of one another may be attained.  As it has been said, Rome wasn’t built in a day; this is not an overnight objective, but rather hope for the socialists’ ultimate destiny for the human species.  It will take time for the elements of Fantasia to create and establish an environment that people in society would be willing to volunteer their lives to work for it.  Therefore, with the passage of time, each time Fantasia gets less funding, rather than contract, through the raising of standards, the employees could relinquish portions of their pay for the greater good of the whole.  However, for this to work it must be a collective voluntary arrangement, and thus it will depend on the living conditions within Fantasia, but in time if the socialist can create such an environment for its family, a classless society may yet be achieved.  As the demand for labor increases, the capitalistic sector will also have to find new and improved methods to attract and retain labor as well.  This intentional design creates a healthy internal competition within the Kingdom between the capitalist, and the socialist and ultimately serves to benefit humanity on a holistic level.  It is also important to recognize that there are people in society that can function very well in a socialist environment, but not in a capitalist environment.  The reverse is also true.  Our new intentional design is to allow each to flourish in their natural habitat for the betterment of the human species.

    Love Thy Neighbor

The proliferation and dominance of Capitalism, its competitive nature has each nation, through nationalism, looking out for its own best interest acting if you would as an unavailable Bachelor.  Each nation desires independence and values its nationalism to such an extent that it has no desire to bond and merge with other nations and\or kingdoms.  In many ways, we could say that the nations of that world are players, horny immature teenagers looking to screw each other, having not yet reached the maturity level to seek a committed relationship.  Ergo our first priority must be to make the Kingdom eligible, to show to the world that we are ready to settle-down and that we are seeking love, marriage, and family.  In the previous section dedicated to the capitalist, I went to great lengths to provide a significant amount of competition within our Jezreel society.  This is because this new form of government has been designed with global intentions and by removing the competition between the republics (and other government models) around the global a healthy form of competition has been brought in to fill that void.  This new form of competition is not designed to create animosity among the classes, but rather to preserve the uniqueness of each element of society so that a resulting healthy bond is formed.  For all who watch
