In another world and another time, hidden deep in
the Animal Kingdom there lay the Dragon Village.
The village consisted of three fire-breathing
mountains, in which the dragons families lived.
Just like the mountains-also called volcanoes -
these dragons spat fire.
To the dragons regret the volcanoes did not spit
often. For they loved swimming and floundering in
the lava. They loved everything that had to do with
fire, but disliked everything opposite of that.
That, in all places, there would be a dragon that
didn’t love fire in their village...
B - Dragon VulcanosYet this dragon was about to be born.
After seven years his mother, Mrs Kina Dragon, laid
seven eggs. The fire dragons always laid seven
eggs, never more and never less. During a great
summer it finally happened. There they were.
Seven red eggs in seven cribs. And for seven days
they lay soft on pillows, kept warm by small woolen
blankets. A dragon mother always took very good
care of her little ones. Every night before bed, the
dragon’s parents carefully lay an ear on the eggs.
Once in a while they heard a gentle knock or snore
coming from the eggs. They were convinced that
they were the most joyful and proud dragons’
parents throughout the hidden Animal Kingdom.
They could hardly wait for the eggs to hatch.
Then, an entire week later, it happened! Mother
Kina was just changing the cribs when she
suddenly heard something. Her mouth fell open in
wonder when one of the eggs suddenly got a
crack! She could hardly believe her own eyes.
And almost forgot to call father Drako! As fast as
she could, Kina ran to the entrance of their burrow
and cried as loud as she could: "Drako Junior is
crawling from of his egg, father!" And whatever
Drako was doing at that time, he instantaneously
stopped and ran home. More red than orange due
to his excitement, he gently entered the children's
room. Just in time he saw the first baby dragon
leaving his egg.
Out of sheer joy the parents gave each other
