“YOU GUYS, THE new Weird is here!” Dandelion Pinkley said, flapping a magazine above her head. “The thirtieth anniversary issue!”
Her brother, Doodlebug, and their next-door neighbor/buddy Bog were in Bog’s bedroom flipping through old copies of World of the Weird, their favorite magazine. But now Dandelion had their attention big time.
Doodlebug reached out excitedly. “Let’s see!”
“Finally!” Bog said.
“I wanted to, but I didn’t peek.” Dandelion handed Doodlebug the new issue. were splashed across its cover. This extra-special issue featured true-life terror tales written by readers. Doodlebug had submitted a story. Only now would they find out if his had been chosen.
