Step 1: Admittance
Every rehabilitation program starts with one crucial step: admittance. Whether it be a drug, alcohol, or gambling addiction; we have to accept and admit that we are addicts. Being ratchet is no different. What is ratchet? Ratchet, is a term for individuals who live less than appealing lives by acting out in manners that are disrespectful to themselves as well as others. Ratchet is what we are in sin.
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God – having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control of weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.

Sweeping our dirt under the rug is commonplace. But how long can one conceal their problems underneath the rug before that lump in the middle of the floor becomes noticeable? Sure; the floors are hardwood, buffed and polished to perfection. The walls are primed down and painted with the finest matte finished paint the local home improvement store has to offer and even
