Chapter One
Field of Lost Dreams
Thirty two years ago my innocence had been snatched away. I was only about three years old when I first remember it all.
My grandmother had a trailer in Empire, Oregon. it was surrounded by trees and a large open space. I have only two memories of that place. One of them was when my uncles played a joke. One of them dressed up in an Easter bunny suit and the other pretended to kill him. The other memory I have is almost like a nightmare. I see it differently than when it first happened. I see myself looking from the front door across to the couch. There is my little self standing next to it and my uncle Ed was sitting. He asked me to come around in front of him and asked if i would touch his male parts. Anything else I blacked out.
Simple situation, yet it still affected me. Little girls are not to be an object of sexual gratification. Nobody should be an object. We are human beings who have true feelings and as little kids we are still in those stages of learning. We don't even understand the meaning of gratification let alone the meaning of love.
Chapter Two
Somebody Listen
I am not sure why but we moved from there. My mother was a single mom who was trying her best I think, at finding us a place to be a family. Trying to find me a dad, or her somebody to love. I do not remember all of my life exactly in detail, but I am trying hard to write all that I do.
I do not remember how old i was when we lived in the yellow house. It was on Cape Arego Hwy, near Coos Bay. I am not sure why we were constantly living with my grandmother, but I know wherever we were my uncles were always there too.
