INTRODUCTION

A woman’s yoni—her sacred feminine place—is one of the greatest gifts of the universe. Since the dawn of time, the yoni has been a symbol of worship for the origin of life, and rightfully so. The yoni traditionally signifies the Hindu goddess Shakti, who represents the never-ending process of life, death, and rebirth when paired with her match; yet, in modern times, the focus of the yoni’s purpose has shifted to female sexuality and sexual pleasure. Whatever form of pleasure in which the woman is participating—whether it be no-strings-attached fun, forbidden trysts, or self love—her yoni has a story.
