It took a while but I followed your advice
Acknowledgements
I would like to thank my teachers, especially Mrs. McCoy in Creative Writing, oh so long ago.
This journey began on numerous two-hour drives with granddaughter Olivia. Safely ensconced in the comfort of the back seat we would spin tales of adventure and fantasy. Without her eager audience, this story would not have emerged.
I must also thank Elain and Erin for their editing and suggestions.
Thank you for your patience and guidance, and your red pen.
