About this ebook

For Sam and Sabrina a stay at Grandma's house turns out to be a roller coaster adventure when the eccentric Professor Molecule comes to call with his FantastIc Listening Machine. Voices from the past tell of pirates, hidden treasure, and secret hiding places. A fun filled journey which takes the children and their sleepy old dog Marcus into the world of Jack Hedgeman and many exciting discoveries. The Professor's machine astounds the children, drawing out conversations from hundreds of years ago, and sends them, from the genteel surroundings of Grandma's old house, hurtling down into the damp cold darkness of a long forgotten cavern.
A great first chapter book for the independent reader, suitable for both boys and girls aged 8-12 years.

William Wyatt

My name is William Wyatt, born and educated in England, Currently, I live in the United States with my wife and two children. Although I have not always been a writer, my fascination has been with words and language throughout my life. Aged about ten years of age, a school friend and I started writing songs which seemed a little more exciting than homework! The songs were terrible although this was the beginning of a long road to putting words on paper. My notebook is full of ideas for characters, plots, musings and a few poems. A great deal of my stories include events and characters from my life as these provide much useful material and funny anecdotes;truth is stranger than fiction on occasion! In my late teens and early twenties, I was in the music business at a very 'non-famous' level. Some of the extraordinary people from that world have helped me develop characters for my writing. Fame and fortune is not a particular goal, more so, the pleasure of sharing stories with anyone who wishes to read them and of course, making you smile.
