Introduction

Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. (Jeremiah 33:3)

For two years in-a-row – 2010-2011- God allowed me to pen the prophetic significance of those years. Detailed instructions were given to me pertaining to the general themes and the implication of every month and what I shared with the body of Christ at large went beyond mere speculations and gimmicks. As we confessed and released our expectations for every month in 2010-2011, God performed with His hands what He spoke with His mouth and proved Himself to our enemies.

Unbeknown to me, those prophetic utterances were positioning my spirit for the process I was about to embark on, as my wife started her battle with breast cancer in 2012 and graduated to glory in October of 2013.  I am currently penning the pages of the upcoming book My Pain, your Gains. To be released in 2015.

As a result of the accuracy of the prophecies, many were expecting and highly disappointed when I didn’t publish anything in 2013 and 2014. I can guarantee you that my silence was not due to a lack of interest or effort on my part; God simply was silent and I didn’t want to speak on His behalf when I wasn’t instructed to do so, though I heard from Him.

As prophets, we must resist the temptation to utter public prophecies on the basis of private revelation. Just because God speaks to you doesn’t mean that He wants to speak through you. There is a difference between the two.

Perhaps God wanted me to rest in Him while going through my wife’s cancer battle and the grieving process that ensued with her graduation to glory. Although this is an arduous, dishearten process, the spiritual benefits outweigh the emotional challenges. I am closer to Him and my hearing ability has been honed.

As a result, He woke me up and told me what the angel of the Lord told Elijah in the cave Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you. (2 Kings 19:7). He told me to let those that have seen the rug of life pulled from under them, while still praising God; that your season of REST is dawning. I have a word from the Lord for you vis-à-vis 2015.

If you are like me, the circumstances of your life, for the past two years, have defied the very promises from God and have painted a negative picture of Jehovah. Well, guess what? You have crossed over the threshold of yet another season.  You are now in a new season, which denotes a compilation of future years, and not just another year. 2015 is the beginning of a five (5) year-season of REST.

In spite of the strategic attacks of the enemy to stop your forward progress and abort your destiny, you have made into the beginning of another season; one in which you will finally conceive and strategically birth your God’s given dreams and vision.

From a spiritual stand point, your warfare has nothing to do with where you are presently, but everything to do with where you are going. Hell attacks your present to prevent you from reaching your destiny. The devil is a master strategist; his attacks are future and destiny oriented.

The enemy never attacks based on who you think you are and where you are, but he launches his attacks at you based on who God says you are and where He is taking you.  Let me encourage you by being your cheerleader and the bearer of great news to you: you made it where others have failed, you made it through the storms of previous seasons, and here you are now, at the threshold of your season of Rest.

I can literally detect your apprehension, even resentment, to the prophecy I just released over your life. I completely understand your lack of excitement. Sometimes the rigidity and the length of a season of Trials and Drought does not lend itself to any celebration, let alone any hope of coming out alive.

Just because you did not make it to dry land the way that you expected doesn’t mean that you should not celebrate. You are not dead yet. Things did not happen as planned, but you are still here. I do not care if you are still going through, you are still here.

Do you realize how many people have fainted and given up and died this year alone? Do you realize how blessed you are? You are too blessed to be stressed, and you are too anointed to be disappointed. Before you move forward into your next season, you need to shake it off. Shake off every spirit of failure. Just because you
