5 Biblical Keys to Your Most Abundant and Prosperous Life - Daniel N Brown

There's a familiar pattern that runs among defeated people. It's an inadequacy to effectively deal with problems. For example, what do we sometimes do when we encounter a problem? Well, if we don't run to our pastor, or some other spiritual authority in utter confusion pleading for a prayer of deliverance, we end up just settling for our current circumstances with a negative attitude, and maybe even furthering our strained relationship with God.

Now, I don’t mean to sound critical. I've got the utmost compassion for people because I've been there. I too, was confused and could never make sense of my circumstances being so lousy. Even though I loved God, I wasn’t satisfied with my life. I despised my work, struggled from lack of money, frequently faced some kind of physical ailment, and the quality of my relationships were rather poor. Needless to say, I was discouraged.

I realize today that I was being duped! The reason is because I was ignorant of the Word of God and His power to deliver me from the grip of the enemy. I had received eternal life by accepting Jesus as my Savior, but I was not experiencing the abundant life He died to give me. I was an ignorant Christian; therefore remained powerless.

Now, let me ask you… Are you experiencing life abundantly, or are you being duped? By reading this book you'll be arming yourself with vital biblical knowledge in order to obtain spiritual power to prosper in every area of your life!

Take a look at John 10:10. In the first part of this Scripture we read, The thief comes only to steal, to kill, and to destroy. In the second part we read, Jesus came that we might have life, and have life more abundantly. Too many of God’s people are running around in utter confusion with strained relationships, poor health, and a zero in their checkbook... and most of it can be contributed to just plain ignorance! God said, My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). But, You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free, and whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:32, 36).

The Son sets free! Who is the Son? He is Jesus, God in the flesh, and the Living Word (John 1:1,14), our ultimate source of power and authority. God said, My son, give attention to My Words; incline your ear to My sayings; do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart, for they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22).

The Bible is all about our prosperity because Jesus came that we may have life, and have life more abundantly! John 10:10 is not referring to when we get to heaven, but NOW... in this lifetime!

Now, let me clarify something very important: It's not realistic to think God should prosper us just because we get saved and become a Christian. No, there are conditions to meet in order to receive God's abundance! Besides, do you really think the devil is just going to stand by and watch as God let's us prosper? 1 Peter 4:12 says, Don't think it strange concerning the fiery trial that has come to test you!

God has unique ways of preparing us for promotion. In fact, what Satan means for our harm, God intends to use for our good; therefore, all negative circumstances are only seemingly negative. Romans 8:28 says, And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

Life is full of challenges and we are constantly being tested. So I ask you… how will you do on your next test? Introduction

Have you ever asked yourself the following questions?

    Where is God?

    Does He hear my prayers?

Why can’t I hear from Him?

Why doesn't He take away my problems?

Does He really even care about me?

Since being born again in 1984, I've certainly had my share of questions for God. Over the years though, I've come to a much better understanding of Him, our relationship, and my position in life. An understanding that says I may have more to do with my current circumstances than God does.

Because there is a cause and effect to everything, our choices will inevitably lead us to certain places. But have you noticed that most people don't want to take responsibility for their shortcomings, faults, and failures? It just seems much easier to point the finger at someone else and blame him or her than to own up to one's self.

If the truth were told, many people secretly blame God for where
