Introduction

A few years ago, I released a book entitled, Living the Godspired Life 21 Day Devotional. That book was the genesis of what would become a mental and spiritual lifestyle change for me. My hope was that from that devotional, people would understand that life is more than just existing. Life is meant to be lived through the lens of divine inspiration.

Godspired is the term I coined when I wanted to encourage a life that is inspired towards greatness by the invitation of making God-centric decisions! Yes, life can be amazing even with all of its ups and downs, victories and defeats, triumphs and tragedies. If you are committed to staying focused on your God-inspired purpose and plan, then nothing that comes your way will take your focus and discipline towards greatness away!

To be Godspired is to be inspired in every aspect of your life by the will and word of God. To literally make Proverbs 3:5-6 a reality. To be Godspired is to identify what He desires for your life and actively work towards a life of surrender. Surrendering your will for His will is one of the fundamental challenges we experience. Due to us having the gift of free will, we can choose divine inspiration and liberation or choose our own will and follow through with its’ path.

Often, I have reflected on choices I have made, especially when a Godspired alternative was present, and the conclusion that I’ve come to is that many of the choices we make out of our own will are rooted in emotion. These choices are momentary decisions that can cause long- lasting effects. Don’t get me wrong, every choice we make has endless possibilities, but there is one choice that will always breed positive, progressive, and purpose-filled outcomes. That is choosing to live a Godspired (God Inspired) life.

A Godspired life does not take away the pain of life, the trials, or temptations. It doesn’t remove the reality of having issues or situations occur that are out of your control, but living a Godspired life will usher you into preparedness and correct response to these eventual outcomes. A Godspired lifestyle is one that is dedicated to uncovering every promise of God towards your life and manifesting them. It is discovering your
