Where is the Love?

Where is the Patience?

In the Garden of Eden, God had so much love for His dear child Adam. He had so much patience with His dear child Adam. Adam did not realize this, so he hid himself when he made a mistake. God was just waiting for His son Adam to speak with Him openly and honestly.

It's not about what you did wrong. God is very loving. He doesn't care about your past mistake but when He speaks to you, He doesn’t want you to hide your face from Him. He wants you to talk. He wants you to be in a never-ending conversation with Him. He doesn't want you to shy away and make excuses as to why you can't hear what He is telling you. There is no reason to hide because He is inviting you to be in relationship with Him, no matter how you may feel about yourself. 

In Genesis chapter three, God said to Adam Who told you that you were naked? God saw and God knew that Adam was naked before Adam mentioned it.  All God did was call out to Adam and he hid himself from God. Adam was afraid because he was naked. No mistake should keep you from God. God created you and He says, you are beautiful despite what you may think about your naked self.  You were made in His likeness and in His image.

Though you may think He is calling you to tell you something you do not want to hear; give Him a chance putting aside your preconceived notions of what will be. God will surprise you with His words.  The Lord speaks truth. Therefore, He will bring up your past, but its only because He doesn't want you to make the same mistake over and over again. He wants to guide you with His truth. He wants to heal your wounds, resurrect your life and give you everything you need.  He is so patient with us. His love is attached very tightly to patience. He never stops speaking. He's always speaking but at times we are moving so fast we do not listen.

In our first book, Who Am I? I Am His, we wrote about our personal journey to love by taking the time out to listen. Why Listen? Because God is always speaking. Can you hear Him? Too often, people do not put time aside to talk to God about their lives or to listen to what God has to say about their lives. It makes me wonder why they are moving so fast without even being quite sure which direction they are supposed to be moving in.  In our life, we decided to stop moving and just listen. Listen to God, feel His love, feel His joy, feel His peace and support. We started taking notes because what God tells us is very important. He gives us direction, assurance, endurance, confidence, patience and every good thing we need to have a fruitful life.

God has loved us abundantly. In our abundance we share notes from our Father with you.

Notes From My Father

These notes that you wrote to me were written on my heart since the day of my birth, waiting to be found.

You waited for the day when I would seek you out on a deeper more intimate level and on that day I found these notes.

Notes filled with love and passion and advice and revelation that are meant to guide me everyday of my life.

These notes have given me strength to make it through each situation.

These notes I lives by. I read them everyday.

Written in code, interpreted through love and patience,

each word gives me life.

With each beat of My heart, these notes guide my feet.

The rhythm of my heart is You.

It beats to love. It beats to joy. It beats to peace.

It does not matter what is going on around me because of this treasure that I unlocked; these notes make me alive

like when I tap my feet to the beat.

Each day the Holy Spirit interprets these secret messages

written to me, by You.

I am becoming wiser and understanding more about this journey called life.

These notes have brought me such peace especially on days when I just didn’t understand.

I have the assurance that everything will work out for My good and You love me.

Every note that I read now sounds like a beautiful song.

A beautiful love song with sweet melodies.
