Thread in Time

Like a thread in time

Stretching for miles

A dot was located along its length

Far from the end

The dot was not to be found

It’s size being too small

The search was on to find the dot

But everywhere they looked, it could not be found

The search for life’s knowledge is like a dot on a string, it’s not easy to find/know. Man struggles for years and in the end, the answers to his most pressing questions are beyond his abilities.

When I got Up

When I got up this morning I went to the bathroom and looked into the mirror, jumping back I wondered who that zombie was? It couldn't be me. I'm a good looking fine person. I know myself like no other person knows me.

When I arrived at work the boss was waiting for me. He was looking at his watch. He said your late. A forgone conclusion! As he looked at me he frowned and walked away shaking his head.

I sat down at my desk and before I could open my computer, I fell asleep. My snoring was so loud that my co-workers couldn't do their jobs. They put earplugs into their ear to no avail. They picked me up and took me out onto the landing outside the sixth floor office. Closing the door, they could still here me and the other office dwellers started to complain. My co-workers picked me up and dumped me over the sixth floor railing. I fell into the swimming pool below.

The sound of my snoring bubbled up and out of the water. It was so great that the office people called the police. The police fished me out of the pool and took me away in an ambulance. I was snoring so loud that the ambulance driver put his hands over his ear causing the ambulance to have an accident. Me, I just keeper on snoring happily.

Another ambulance was called but the attendants refused to take me away. The police forced them to take me to the hospital two block from the accident. The hospital people loaded me onto a gurney and wheeled me into a room with doors and soundproofing. I continued to snore so loud that they wheeled me to the lowest basement room they had. My snoring was so earth shattering that I caused an earthquake that threaten to bring down the hospital.

They then put me into a semi and drove me to a deep hole in the ground where the bottom was 80 feet below the surface. I fell with a thump and caused a rumbling in the holes walls.

I then woke up and wondered where I was? It was very dark and I thought it must be night. I fell back to sleep not making a peep.

When I woke up again, I wondered why it was so dark? I felt around in my surroundings and located what felt like a rope latter. I started to
