About this ebook

Unbreakable by nature offers us three different stories which marked the life of the same person.
Firstly, it tell us the whishes that a nine year old kid had in order to survive the bad treatment he received and the obstacles life put in his way at such an early age. After wining the battle against the hell’s throat –a twenty three meters deep hole where he fell–, he had to deal with four months living in captivity, tied up in the pig’s mess, eating, sleeping and doing the needs, all in the same place.
Secondly, that same boy shares with us all the things he had to do. Managing with what he had available to dig and finish the well for an olimpic pool without nobody’s help, feeling hungry, cold and tired, he got to prove that if you are determined, you can do whatever you want in your life.
Thirdly, it tells us the story of the same boy, a grown twenty six years old young man, now turned into an adult and a professional. This time, life tested him once again, he had to put his ego and pride aside and start again from the bottom, far away from home, among strangers speaking a completely different language, facing bad treatment, humiliation from those around him. Despite this, he became a good man and now he describes all those events which helped him to become an honest person and shares with us all the things he learnt during his difficult journey.

    Introduction

Unbreakable by nature offers us three different stories that marked the life of the same person.

Firstly, it tells us the wishes that a nine years old boy had in order to survive the bad treatment he received and the obstacles life put in his way at such an early age. After winning the battle against the hell’s throat -a twenty three meter deep hole where he fell-, he had to deal with four months living in captivity, tied up in the pigs’ mess, eating, sleeping and doing the needs, all in the same place.

Secondly, that same boy shares all the things he had to do with us. Managing to dig and finish the well for an Olympic pool without nobody’s help, doing it with what he had available in that moment, feeling hungry, cold and tired, he got to prove that if you are determined, you can do whatever you want in your life.

Thirdly, it tells us the story of the same boy, a grown twenty-six years old young man, now turned into an adult and a professional. This time, life tested him once again he had to put his ego and pride aside to start again from the bottom, far away from home, among strangers speaking a completely different language, facing bad treatment, humiliation from those around him. Despite this, he became a good man and now he describes all those events, which have helped him to become an honest person, and shares with us all the things he learnt during his difficult journey.

This book is not about religion, but about real knowledge, that has been being applied from the beginning of times, since the time when human being appeared and had awareness of things.

Something that is clear and is known by all of us is that there are thousands of self-help books writers and a lot of similar topics, but we also know that most of them are focused on psychology and on case study laws that in many occasions aren’t understood by us, so I will be very clear, avoiding using words that will force you find a dictionary to understand them.

Here we will talk as if we were talking between friends, what will help us to understand each other better and to make the most of this work as useful as possible. Let’s take it as if a friend writes us a letter and with all his sincerity he reminds us what we already know but that we don’t actually use in the best way for our own benefit and happiness.

In this book, you will find a mixture of real facts which happened in the real personal life of some people and that marked their lives forever, as well as many other events taken from hundreds of self-help books and from the observation of people I was blessed to meet and exchange ideas with.

And the most important thing, life’s lessons, which really marked my way to become the man who, nowadays, with proud and gratitude, comes in front of you to share the knowledge that I have learned, one way or another, knowledge that we already know, but we just need them to be reminded in order to put them into practice.

This is what we are going to talk about in this book. Am I who I want to be? If the answer is no, Why? Here we will find and analyze the cause, thanks to a meticulous study of three different moments in life.

One of the questions we all have asked to ourselves more than once and, probably, we still haven’t found the answer. When we are going through difficult moments, we want to change the way we are or we want to change the situation, just being different or even being someone else.

It all stars with the first day of our lives, when we have contact with the world for the first time. Actually, it starts much earlier than the moment our mother gave birth to us or, what is more, much earlier than the moment our parents conceived us.

Maybe you say, How can this be possible? Well, it’s easy; pay attention to these lines that we often hear.

My son will be a great lawyer!

My son will be a splendid doctor!

My son will be a successful man!

My son will be a handsome man!

Like these lines, there are thousands more, so many that this book’s sheets wouldn’t be enough to name them. Now, why is it that we never listen something like My son will be whatever he wants to be, he will be himself, his own person? If we wished this from the bottom of ourselves, then everything would be much easier and I would assure you it would be even easier than we wanted to. But the important thing here isn’t who I am, but why I am what I am. And who do I really want to be. This is the first thing I have to solve in order to get whatever I wish in my life: Who I want to be and why I am not who I want to be?

Let’s start from the beginning, with a short story that will help us understand some parts of what we are trying to find out here.

    Unbreakable desire for life

From the distance, the old lady could be heard shouting and cursing. She said something like: Useless, you are good for nothing; all you do is ruining my life. Like this, the insults kept going over and over again. Suddenly, I, a nine-year-old boy, broke the silence:

I didn’t do anything, what happens to you is not my fault.

In that moment, the woman threw the plate with hot food over my head; this action was followed by some hits and other insults.

How is it that you haven’t done anything? You shouldn’t have been born! All I have done to avoid you coming to this world to ruin my life: you are not loved in this world, everything was a complete mistake. Because of you I had to give up my dreams; in order to take care of you. So don’t say it isn’t your fault, I should hit you to death so you can learn how much you disturb me.

In that moment, I started to cry. The old lady started hitting me with no compassion using a belt made of died cow leather, which is usually used to tame horses. I went outside running behind the cold winter rain that battered the region those days. It was about eight o’clock at night, a dark night where you could not see even a meter ahead because of the rain and darkness.

The attacker ran after me, she caught me, threw me on the ground, hit me mercilessly and, with all her anger, discharged all her rage on my malnourished and half-naked body. I was just screaming:

    No, no, please, not more.

Stepping on my neck and pushing me hard against the ground, she stretched my arm up, taking my hand and twisting it to cause more pain, as if she tried to pull it out of my body and as the same time she spit and insulted me. I watched her pale and long-suffering face; with long hair and her few rotten teeth left looking like a wild animal just trying to quarter its victim to eat.

Suddenly, a loud noise of Mother Nature’s thunder broke the horror of the shouts of help and the insults. The old lady got scared and loosened the foot on my neck; I took the chance to run away like an arrow thrown with no direction. The old lady, who seemed to want to go on mistreating me, tried to hold me back but, I was so wet because of the rain and my arms were so skinny, that I escaped, releasing myself from the hits like a wild colt. I ran, ran and ran till I escaped from her claws. All of a sudden, aayyy! I couldn’t find ground to support my weight; I started falling into an endless space. The abandoned well twenty-three meters deep, used for taking water for animals, it was clear; the water that ran hardly from top of the hill dragged the rotten boards which barely covered the well’s hungry entrance.

While I was falling, I felt the branches hitting my body, fortunately, at the same time they hurt me, they also softened the fall.

But, in spite of all those bangs that hurt me, they were like caress compared with the leather belt bangs she used to release her rage against my helpless body.

When I touched the bottom, I hit my body against the cold water and the branches that laid on the end of the well. Fortunately, I fell from back, with my feet touching the branches before my body, which helped it not to be a mortal hit. Bending my head up, I could see the attacker at the well’s border, screaming and insulting me, saying:

You will stay there until you rot in the mud. She turned over and left. I, alone in the dark, screamed:

Help, help, help, get me out of here I don’t want to be alone, it’s really cold and dark.

I screamed over and over again asking for help until I used up all my strength; nobody was listening to me.

I was alone and abandoned in the middle of the night, shaking because of the cold and wet because of the rain which was hit the ground harder and harder at each moment.

Among the raindrops and hailstones, a dull clarity could be seen in the sky; the crescent moon that fought with the clouds could be seen. This gave me a slight visibility to stop me from feeling completely blind inside the well.

The hours went by, the cold and hunger were stronger than tiredness and exhaustion, and therefore I couldn’t sleep. That is how the night passed by and the day came; I could see how clarity began to show how ugly and dirty the bottom of the well was. The hours went by and the rain was getting colder; I couldn’t see properly, the water coming down was torrential. The day passed by, I didn’t feel the cold so hard because the tiredness was more intense than cold and the stomach screamed desperately asking for food.

So the day went by, night’s darkness came once again; the rain didn’t stop; it felt more painful every time.

Suddenly, I heard some strange noises, as if the monster of death was getting closer to come and get me. The water sliding from the hill moved those last boards that barely covered a part of the well and that also stopped water from entering and covering me.

But that barrier that stopped water from entering in the well was no longer there, the water began to fall and the mud level started to go up. A twenty-five centimeters long and about four centimeters wide piece of wood was my only tool, I held that piece of wood as if it was my only salvation. Hunger was beating me and exhaustion kept mistreating me, I have just been in the well full of mud for a day and a half, with no food, being cold, alone, abandoned and, out there, an old lady who just wanted to get rid of me.

Holding the piece of wood, I fell asleep again, shaking because of the cold and feeling really hungry. I was like a death person lying above the mud and the dirty water that almost covered me completely. Suddenly, I opened my eyes, breathed deeply and jumped out scared; the water had already covered me. I stood and asked for help, but nobody heard my begs. It was nighttime once again and I could hardly see the slight clarity the moon gave to me through the clouds and the rain hadn’t stopped a minute during all that time. The hunger kept castigating me, I didn’t feel so sleepy but I did feel the cold, the tiredness and pain everywhere. This is how I spent the night again, my teeth seemed to have an electric engine that did not let them stay quiet, and they shacked and hit one against each other. I was no longer feeling my hands and feet, it all seemed to be asleep: not even the pain disturbed me. That is how I spent the night.

The next day clarity came and the rain kept caressing my body, which didn’t feel the difference between pain and pleasure. I opened my eyes and I could see that the dirty water was already above my waist, but I just didn’t care: my only thought was the hunger I was suffering. Suddenly, I got scared because of a movement in the water. I realized I was no longer alone: I had company. Without knowing what it was, I just stood there still trying to find out what it was. I couldn’t even take a step to escape. Frightened, I only could wait to see what would happen later. Minutes went by and I just couldn’t see any life sign,
