The way one defines and understands important aspects of oneself such as body, relationships, behavior, interest, ability (physical, intellectual, emotional), weaknesses which act often as inseparable from self has many significance. We call all these various aspects by 'components of self' and these definitions or understandings or broad range of ideas related to these by name of self-perception. The self-perception presented here should not be confused with self-perception theory (SPT).
