This book is dedicated to the memory of the smartest girl in the islands... the youthful beauty, Miss Albertha C. Pettee who, when a bachelorette, was THE most sought after teacher in these islands. Then, blessing musician and french teacher Eric B. Cash, Sr with 11, plus me, Eric Jr. she became an endearing, stay-at-home, junkanoo Mudda [1]. Her legacy still lives within those who experienced the sincere warmth of this compassionate, charming, charitable neighbour.

I am ME, because, when I was one yoot, she taught me VEP - Virtues-Values-Efficiency-Ethics-Patience-Principles and how to apply them to my family and community choices. No matter the relationship. Most of all, Dearest encouraged me to be a soul, a higher-minded, better ME. She taught me early on to avoid mean-spirited ways, soul killing sip-sip, unhealthy suck spirits and money-grabbing lifestyle peeps and choices. She was my guruji [1a] teaching me to avoid slackness with its life-shattering mistakes, costs and regrets. She patiently and cheerfully answered my endless questions; especially about the wonders of our island culture, flora and fauna. That is, the flora and fauna that was all around at the time. These attitudes are shared here, from my VEP past, for your VEP future. She was a kaNoo, a JoinKAnoo because she inclusively loved all rushers. She was a proud Bahamian / Bahuman [2] who lived to watch junkanoo; loving that the shack creatives manufactured the costumes and they and creative performers go rushing.

The FOREVER FAUNAHOOD

Dada Sun travels from the Eastern sky, sun rays dancing, transmitting his glory of radiating ONENESS. Mudda's NooDo Isle is bathed in the light of his loving ray’s wakey-wakey time.

He tenderly sounds Creative ray vibes of forward, upward, onward, together ‘pon his oscillating solar winds. Mudda Earth’s Creativity responds to and nurtures all, because of his inclusive, supportive action. She ripples and flashes the nooifying sound over these islands. They repeat his and her YO-OM causing mountains of carbonate to grow. NooDo Isle was formed ages and ages ago amidst these flashings, cays and islands.

There is a beguiling family of islands, surrounded by transparent waters, called Bahamas by some Originals, like the Arawakan Lucayos. Nowadays, it is called The Bahamas Archipelago, located in the North Atlantic Ocean. It is cradled by miles of sandy flats sparkling here and there with rare, never ending beaches of white sugar or pink sand. Fact, mythology, chanting, poetry, prose, rap and song call these isles That Beautiful Shore. Take a look, dear hearts, at these 700+ Isles of June glowing from space, illuminated in crystal clear brightness and immortalised as such by astronaut salts inside earthian barques; sailing 'pon the Ocean of Space.

Dada Sun sends his enduring light of love to inspire Mudda Earth’s artistry. She reflects that love by creating the prettiest isle within the most beautiful archipelago in the West.

NooDo Isle is the only floating flashing AKA sandbar made of buoyant limestone rock and the lightest of coral sand. It is surrounded by Dada’s and Mudda’s invisible, aeonic force field causing its appearance and disappearance. This creates nooical or magical, fresh water pools of healing ocean waters wherever Mudda Earth decides to move it about in the archipelago.

There are no fresh water ponds, lakes, rivers or streams here. Water catchment systems, banana and plantain tree plant holes and sheltered pools gather rains on this desert isle.

A tiny, thatched hut nestled inside gardens, grounds, bush and beach is where an extended family lived an inclusive, simple life. They radiated good will and practiced a meditation for millennia. This meditation is called I.D.-tation. At its heart was Mudda Earth’s ancient WORD of right human relations called: The RULES of this HOUSE, called troot. Everyone practising it expressed the highest intent and identification with Virtues-Values-Efficiency-Ethics-Patience-Principles or VEP. They called VEP NooDo Consciousness, that is, "a living balance of the forces of life in our world, a sacred reciprocity or ayni (I-nee]" [6].

The RULES of this HOUSE taught them harmony and harmlessness, creating an equal, balanced NooDo between men and women, for all time. Noo Islanders began to STAND on having
