- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Hey, guess what, mothers? You're doing it wrong. You're cranky and trying too hard and you really need to.... I dunno, meditate, so that you can be a better mother and let go of all that guilt. Guilt is really just self-indulgence after all. This book was absolutely infuriating. Where is the structural analysis of how it got this way? Why so many women seem to be running themselves ragged? What is the role of fathers in caring for children and making a home? Apparently these are questions we're not supposed to ask.I hated this book so much I'm not even going to donate it, lest some other unsuspecting woman waste her time reading it. Into the recycle bin it goes.
