The writer of this book practices the Annabran religion as a devotional way of life. She respects all religions and trusts that this respect and tolerance will extend to those people who choose the Annabran religion as a reflection of their deepest spirituality, philosophy and values in daily life.
The Annabran religion is about practice and corporeal outlook in life while taking into account the many facets of human emotions, identity and sociability.
In a human society there can develop a crisis of egoic competition for the goods and identity is the most potentially lethal in actualization of all possessions. This is one of the reasons why the Annabran religion is relevant to the world because it offers a truly equitable and spiritual anchor for identity. We are born to be an acceptable member of the human race and our birthright is to be part of the cosmos as part of Annabra. Anything less dooms a civilization to eventual decay as delusionary symbolic possessions including warped and aggressive identity lead to hysterical competition and antisocial behavior.
To really feel the life of this planet in its cosmic environment is to spontaneously open up to the love of Annabra in its completeness and generosity. Where do we find ourselves if not in the heart of Annabra? Devotees can be inspired by the presence of Annabra in and as the world as well as in the situations of meditation and devotion. Annabrans need to work with faith in order to finally understand that even the dust on the window pane is literally sacred and inclusive in and of Annabra.
Annabra is all matter/energy/space and is imbued immanently with all love, intelligence and beauty. All the other male and female meditations are aspects of Annabra which deserve their own devotional identities. They are the link between Annabran meditational being and relating to the social and political realities we have to deal with every day.
PART ONE: ANNABRA
ANNABRA
The great Annabra is the totality of all matter/energy/space that we know as the cosmos. Annabra is all spiritual, intellectual and material energy in matter/energy/space and we are eternally part of her. Those who call on Annabra escape the search for unrealistic fulfillment. True fulfillment is to be found in nothing other or less than in relationship with the being of the cosmos. The search for happiness in isolation from everything is abandoned when devotees find themselves in communion with all that is. Even the thoughts and personalities of other people are seen as sacred energy.
The fretful search for ego supremacy is left behind as a bad dream for followers of Annabra who easily wake up to the delusions cast by the never ending search for superiority. When the truth of equality is approached respectfully, Annabra reveals her mysterious secrets to all who honor her. Of interest to most is the unconditional love that is the ever-presence of Annabra as the cosmos with her blessings for needy creatures finding themselves in inhumane cultures of isolation, separation and overly aggressive social competitiveness.
Those who honor Annabra accept all matter/energy/space as the substantial entity of the cosmos. This includes all matter/energy/space as loving and intelligent with the potential for development over eons into complex and regenerative forms.
For devotees of Annabra water and rock are as sacred as any other matter/energy/space and contain the potential for materialistic though non-human communication with other forms of matter/energy/space.
It is in the nature of matter/energy/space to be changing form whether an apple, a sun or a human being. Matter/energy/space is universal substance changing in a seemingly infinite play of diversity.
Thus followers of Annabra call their lifespan a formspan, avoiding the life/death dualism implicit in the language. The life of matter/energy/space never begins and never ends.
Not only is matter/energy/space intelligent but its nature is that of love, cooperation and belonging. This is the presence that people often feel in forests and other sacred places. But to be open to this presence of love even in a dull room is an opening of the possible for any matter/energy/space, especially the complex form of a human being. The smallest particle of matter/energy/space has all the intelligence and love inherently and immanently in itself. Intelligence is discriminating and loving and therefore we can assume that matter/energy/space itself is manifest love and desire (the desire to express itself in relational manifestations or forms). For devotees of Annabra this proves that matter/energy/space communicates with its own likeness.
No part of matter/energy/space is more or less sacred than any other part which is a truly collective consciousness. Those who honor Annabra are eternally alive as part of the flux of matter/energy/space. When we die we are metamorphosed within the united ecology of Annabra as the cosmos.
This oceanic unity with life as a whole is a fact. We are morpho-culturally programmed to feel a unity with all that exists. It is our innate desire even though we feel this to a greater or lesser degree depending on our interest or mood at the time. The mystery of the subjectivity of the plenum is a sacred totality where matter/energy/space is not discrete objects but part of cosmic corporeality. All matter/energy/space is the body of Annabra. We are all part of Annabra. Devotion to Annabra inspires euphoria and oceanic feelings of belonging which are the source motivations of religious endeavour. To live without relationship to the immediate environment and the whole plenum in turn is to live in alienation from our birthright. We are made to experience this love and relationship which is fundamentally the quality of all matter/energy/space even before becoming a human being.
All Annabrans surrender to Annabra as being themselves primarily matter/energy/space and secondarily as human beings for a limited amount of time. This ensures a complete turn around in orientation to the world and in ego position. Annabra is not simply the goddess of matter/energy/space. Annabra is matter/energy/space itself, the only substance of existence in which we inhere. We are the patterns and weavings of matter/energy/space. Our life as a given bodily entity is not only dependant on matter/energy/space to be and to survive but we are inherently the expression of matter/energy/space itself in its life of manifestation and metamorphosis. We are the fruits of the imagination and communication of matter/energy/space built over the eons. As such the brief human life is a monumental achievement for matter/energy/space. Only that it were humanly less difficult for the entity of such good workmanship and cooperation. Nevertheless, our life is a rare experience to savor.
Followers of Annabra are ever conscious of their existence as matter/energy/space and do not get carried away by delusions of egoic grandiosity. They appreciate the symbiotic relationship with the earth, biosphere, nature and also the man-made environment.
Those who honor Annabra transcend life and death through the belonging which they have as matter/energy/space in the cosmos. Human organization and culture is seen as transient compared to the all-embracing unity of matter/energy/space and its logic surpasses the intelligence of the human as a limited cooperative venture of matter/energy/space of finite capacity and expression. The Annabran religion is a definite recognition of the totality of the divine as meditation grows to the knowing of matter/energy/space as pure un-egoically influenced existence.
We can glimpse and grow in understanding of the one life of Annabra who is all in relationship. Our faith and devotions are rewarded by intuition as to the remarkable unity of all things. Hints of this mystery reveal themselves occasionally in the miraculous synchronicity of events. This is also revealed in the ecology of planet earth and of the cosmos itself. Matter/energy/space becomes the most ecological and beautiful presence that is possible for it in the circumstances. That is why nature is always elegant to the degree of mystery. All is insinuated into the play of
