Introduction

This book begins where Travels with the Earth Oracle — Book One left off. If you have not read Book One, it is quite possible you will lose your way.

Book Two chronicles the trips members of a spiritual group took with the Earth Oracle between 1995 and 2006 to engage energetically with the fifth, sixth, and seventh chakras of the planet.

Our world travels and the soul work involved were directed by Donna Sarah Taylor, a woman I refer to as the Earth Oracle because of her extraordinary ability in bringing voice to a multitude of highly conscious beings, the spirit of places, and planetary life forms.

The travels began in 1987, after years of working with the Teacher*, a teacher of souls the Oracle channels.¹ A major focus of the Teacher’s instruction during the years prior to our travels, and since, has been to name, accept, and take responsibility for the solid and darker places in us, and to bring light and movement to these rigid aspects of ourselves so that more of our souls can blend with our bodies and create a healthier, more conscious state of aliveness.

Blending the soul and body in a mutually beneficial way is a challenging endeavor. According to the Teacher, there is not one person on Earth who has fully blended their body and soul. This makes sense given the dissimilar natures of the two worlds. The etheric state of the soul is fluid and formless, and manifests at a higher vibratory rate than the body, which is governed by the timing and structure of physical reality.

Add to this the solidity in our bodies, the places where the movement of energy is blocked, rigid, or stuck in time due to painful experiences, old wounds, traumas, and heartbreak, as well as inflexible beliefs, judgment, isolation, and entrenched thought forms. These locked, unresolved, and unhealed places trap energy in our bodies, impeding entry for our souls. Also, the goals of a person’s soul this lifetime might be at odds with the goals of his or her body. The soul can activate changes and expression without considering the body’s willingness, timing, or readiness to act.

Due to these differences and the cumulative lifetimes of dysfunction and disconnection, the work involved in opening the body to bring in more soul becomes a difficult and complex process.

As the body begins to move into much more of a conscious state, so must your soul. The two must come together and meet with each other where they have harmed each other.

The Trips

After years of the Teacher’s instruction, and with the arrival of another being called the Master, it became clear that for a certain state of consciousness to be achieved, and to blend our souls and bodies in a more balanced way, our bodies needed to be opened up and touched by energies of the Earth. To do this successfully, we needed to be present at specific sites around the world and be willing and able to bring the spirit of the place into our bodies and energy fields.

The trips were not solely intended for our personal awakening or healing, but also to expand our awareness of the dimensions of the planet’s soul and to learn how we are as much a part of the Earth’s life and its spiritual journey as it is a part of ours.

Self-realization requires Earth-realization.

The Librarian² selected the exact places for us to work with precision using detailed topographical maps. Each site was chosen for the energy emanating there that would help us with an aspect of our soul work and our connection with the Earth’s chakras, which had been in hibernation for ages and needed to be awakened. These places were not all sacred sites or recognized power spots. Some were off-road and in little known, remote locations. The Oracle pinpointed a number of them on the spot. Her body acted as a tuning fork, picking up where to stop the buses or all-terrain vehicles — which sometimes made it frustrating for our guides, who were used to the beaten track of tourists.

The Oracle’s remarkable ability to vocalize the conscious presence of these places aided us in our Earth energy work, and gave us the opportunity to dialogue with the spirit of each site, and with the wise non-physical beings and past masters who had once lived and walked these lands.

Awakening the Human Soul

Following our return from Israel in 1993, we began putting our attention on our human souls, which we’d reawakened at the dolmens in the Golan Heights. The human soul is different from the etheric soul because it comes from the soul of the planet, whereas the etheric soul comes from a far larger oversoul. The Earth gives an aspect of its soul to all of its life forms.

The soul of the Earth is pretty big. It creates a multitude of life forms and it sends out a particle of itself also to the life forms so that it can experience and be expressed in its living. So that all living things are not only expressing God from the etheric source, but expressing Earth from the Earth soul.

This etheric element of the Earth is centered in the body between the second and third chakras. The disintegration of the human soul began as people became more and more solid. Murder, wars, and domination of Nature put the finishing touches on its demise. Our etheric connection with the soul of the Earth deteriorated. The song of souls became mute. We lost our way. We lost the light, the guidance, the energy, and the extrasensory consciousness the human soul provides.

As the Teacher has pointed out, we cannot grow spiritually without a nurturing and energetic connection with the being and soul of planet Earth. It takes a soul-to-soul relationship to enhance the presence of the etheric soul in our own bodies and to attain what the Teacher calls a state of etheric physicality.

The human soul is only involved if it is not murdered, killed, maimed, punished, or broken. And it can be. It is fragile. It is strong, but it is fragile. It is not permanent and it can be killed… with self-hatred, self-neglect. Self-narcissism kills it also. The inability to see beyond self will kill the human soul.

The First and Second 8 Patterns

In addition to working to reawaken our human souls, we were also given a second figure 8 pattern to add to the basic, or first, 8 energy structure we had been practicing. As you may recall from Book One, the first 8 pattern involves running a complete infinity loop of energy from the eighth chakra to the third, on up through the ninth chakra, and back around. This pattern is foundational in the work of blending soul and body. It serves as a stable, circulating structure that extends your energy field as it helps you become more conscious of the inside and outside worlds.

When we speak of the first set of 8s, it really means running as much Earth energy and spiritual energy in harmony with yourself as you possibly can.

The First 8 Pattern

The Second 8 Pattern

The second 8 circulates energy from the Beast center* (located between the first and second chakras) to the human soul center, and on up to the genetic entity* (located in the neck area) and back around.

The second 8 helps bring in your body’s goal with the planet Earth. This is the goal the planet has for your body this lifetime. It reflects how you care for the Earth and its creatures through your actions. The second 8 also strengthens your physical identity because it allows the Earth to work through you. A balanced first 8 is essential in developing the second figure 8 energy pattern.

Opening the Upper Chakras

Up to this point, we had worked with the first four chakras of the planet in North America, Egypt, South America, and Israel. Now we were about to embark on the upper chakras of the body — the fifth, sixth, and seventh. This wasn’t going to be a cakewalk, and we knew it. With the demise of the human soul the upper chakras had not been able to remain fluid because the lower chakras had lost their connection to each other, and to the soul of the Earth. This disconnect solidified our upper chakras, cutting our bodies off from our etheric souls. In this rigidity, evil came to the forefront with the murder cycle* humans are still enacting today. Contact was not only lost with the planet and its family of planets in the solar system, but also with our deeper selves.

The first chakra, the second, the third, and fourth all must simultaneously connect so these upper chakras can actually begin to function in a more conscious light. One of the dynamics of how humans impacted the world and brought evil to it so strongly is where they solidified these upper chakra systems.

So, this work is going to be very challenging to your body. Any dark place that you happen to have is going to be highlighted immensely by the desert. The work in the desert is pure kundalini work. I would bring some ice along to help your poor aching feet because they will hurt.

Jordan and Israel

The desert is the ocean of fire.

The buses stopped on the brink of nowhere, a dry, desolate landscape stretching out in all directions. This trip, our second journey to the Middle East, began in a desert in Jordan, the gateway to the fifth chakra. We would be visiting a number of desert sites, first in Jordan and then to Israel once again, to strengthen the work we’d started two years before with the heart chakra. The Teacher pointed out how the work of opening the fifth chakra needed to be in the desert.

The desert is a place that has no boundary, and no place or structure in time or sound that is human-made. The desert is completely open to all the multi-dimensions, and this is quite important. For all your prophets, all your wise people, all went off to the desert.

The desert will touch you where you are, in your subconscious and in your conscious. Not one of your coffin doors can hold that back. The desert is far too powerful, and far too strong. All that go to it, go to it by its laws. None of your laws, none of your controls, none of your rules are going to work in the desert. So you are going to get a lot more than sand in your face.

The tiny hole on a topographical map of Jordan, where the Librarian had stuck a pushpin some months before, turned out to be the desert of Wadi Bayir.

DESERT BEING

When you begin to work within desert energy, and we begin to open the great deserts in your body, we open up places where growth is very difficult but where it is sacred, not taken for granted and not taken easily and cherished among all things.

The color green was always so sacred because it was always lacking. The color green was one of abundance, of such painstaking growth, so admired, so loved, so vital and strong. The plants and trees fought the desert to live and were thus cherished for that life and their greenness. Green is sacred in all levels of growth because it means life.

Each of you, now find your spot where you are strong. Each of you, find the spot where you are willing to grow, and find the strength you need to grow. I give you nothing. I give you your desert. I give you heat. I give you wind. I give you earth. And very little water. Find your place in there.

Find the spot in the middle of your eight where there is no time. It is infinity. You are all time now. And in this place is where you can grow. If it is empty and void of growth, then you have actually sought all your growth outside. If it is strong in there, then you have centered unto yourself and you are rooted inside yourself. Find your strength.
