Absolute Being

Also referred to as the Creator. Some may call this Being God as it is exemplified by orthodoxy. However, when I refer to the Absolute Being in this book, I mean the Absolute Being—above creation and beyond orthodoxy terminology. This can also be described as ‘the breath’, ‘the force’, or ‘the energy’ that sustains all life.

Ages

Our Soul experiences take us through the twelve signs of the Zodiac and in the greater cycle (approx.25,000 years), each sign is described as an age. For instance, currently on earth we are leaving the Piscean Age and entering the Aquarian Age. Both ages are very much influencing events around the globe. An age is approximately 2,170 years. There is no precise cut-off point between one age and another, as they overlap.

Akashic

These are known as accurate and true records which are imprinted in the ether as our Souls go through earthly life experiences. Each time our Souls learn a lesson, the lesson is automatically imprinted in the Akashic records. This can never be incorrect—as our Souls learn, so it is written. It is also known as life-time review.

Ancestral Group Soul

For many years, I have worked with the Ancestral Group Soul to help and support people who come to me for counselling and guidance. Through my own inner guidance and intuition, I was made aware of this group of souls in spirit many years ago and slowly, over the years, have come to know them and trust them. These are companions of old, whose mission is to help us understand our paths, and give us insight into past lives and why certain issues and problems keep coming up again and again. They seek nothing, but are simply happy to assist when we ask. Being part of an ancestral group soul takes us beyond our immediate family members.

Atmic

This is the highest level after the Buddhic and Christ consciousness. Only those who have attained the very high degrees of initiation are aware of this level.

Etheric

The next level after the physical. We all have an etheric body, which is a replica of the physical but without all the restraints, emotions, and thoughts associated with the human body.

Karma

Karma is simply an opportunity to learn lessons which, for varying reasons, we have not learned previously. In every life, we accumulate karma as a result of our thoughts, deeds, and actions. Therefore, it follows that good thoughts, deeds, and actions will accrue good karma. In other words, look at it like amassing credits for the soul. Equally, unkind, destructive thoughts, deeds, and actions will accrue the opposite—debts. As we sow, so shall we reap.

Monad/Monadic

Referring to the highest level: God or Atmic.

Logoi/Logos

This is another name for the Gods (aspects of the Divine) who are responsible for different universal systems. There is a Planetary Logos, who is a centre or Chakra in the body of the Solar Logos, who in turn is a centre or Chakra in the body of the Cosmic Logos.

Root-races

Root-races are different evolutionary stages of humanity as a whole. Each root-race succeeds another, although there is a period of overlapping between the old forms dying out and the new forms beginning to be more dominant. The end of a root-race and the beginning of a new one is marked by important geological changes.

There are seven root-races thus far known to humanity. These are

The Polarian or Adamic

The Hyperborean

The Lemurian

The Atlantean

The Aryan (our current root-race)

Two others as yet unnamed to follow

There are seven sub-races within each root-race and each sub-race has seven branch races. We are presently in the fifth, and moving on to the sixth, sub-race of the fifth root-race.

Solar Angel

Solar Angels could also be described as our higher selves, our souls, or our inner selves. Some would also describe these as our guardian angels. These are the entities that guide us through all our incarnations.

Solar Systems

The Ageless Wisdom teachings tell us that there are seven solar systems. We are currently in the second solar system. It is said that each solar system lasts billions, or even trillions, of years. The first solar system was about the intelligence of the Creator, the current solar system is about the love and wisdom of the Creator; it is this energy, this force, that sustains and influences this planet.
