How to Succeed a Online Marketing Business - Labinot Gashi

    goals.

    5. THE BASIC PRINCIPLE OF THE BOOK

The basic idea of this book is to show you which points need to be considered in order to start and run an online business successfully from day one, i.e. overnight. Thus, the focus of all activities is set on increasing the effect and the need for these products or services one day.

For this reason, you need to define a date in your planning when you will start all marketing activities. This will be your One Million Night. By this date your website or shop has to be up and running and checked several times. At this point, you must be ready to implement your idea to earn money.

« THOSE WHO SET THEMSELVES THE RIGHT GOALS CAN ONLY WIN. »

    MARC M. GALAL

    6. ONE MILLION IDEA

You are probably familiar with this situation? You have an idea on how you can earn lots of money in no time, but you quickly forget this thought. This is certainly not a one million idea. The idea that should bring you to your goal has to convince you right from the start. You need to be absolutely convinced of this idea. You should dream of this idea, even during the day.

You have to be obsessed with your idea, because only then passion and love define this idea. You need it to be convincing. You also need it for people who want to drive this thought out of you - and believe me - you will meet countless of those people. Therefore, you have to be absolutely sure that you can reach your personal goal and that your added value will be known as soon as possible.

But how do you come up with such a one million idea?

    6.1 Brainstorming

One of the most effective methods to broaden your view and encourage creativity is brainstorming. Here, you first choose a topic and write down all possible thoughts without evaluating them. I recommend that you sleep on it for a night and start the evaluation the next day so that you do not commit yourself too quickly and possibly make the wrong decision. It is worth the wait.

For the brainstorming you can be either alone or there can be several people. The advantage of having several participants is that you can encourage each other creatively. Hence, the idea can be developed into a more advanced version with the help of another participant.

What questions should you ask yourself to brainstorm your One Million Idea:

What do these people want? What do they not want?

    What else is not there?

    What can I improve?

What is the world dreaming about?

    What are my strengths?

Write down everything that comes to mind. In the second step you should analyze and evaluate the structure as well as analyze the competition.

    6.2 Brain Trust Principle

The constant progression of an idea or a project is an integral part of success. Usually developed projects differ greatly from how they were planned at the beginning. This is a good thing, as continuous optimization increases success.

Such a development is promoted, for example, by the brain trust principle. Thus, a group of experts meets regularly and discusses various topics. Thanks to this exchange, different views on the respective topics can be presented. You receive information and tips from people who may not know your product, but know how to market it the fastest, which points you should pay attention to or what you should not forget.

Here are some points you should consider when setting up a brain trust group:

Members should be experts or have extensive experience

Industries and professions should be different

Members should not consist mainly of a close circle of friends (conversations become private)

    Conversations should be profitable

Points of discussion should be defined before each meeting (to structure the discussion)

    Members should meet regularly (quarterly)

The aim of this group is not only to exchange information and provide advice but also to network. After all, a member might know an ads specialist or even a managing director in a company you would like to cooperate with.

    6.3 Target Definition with SMART

You are now ready to write down your idea based on the points mentioned above and thus ready for the next step. Now we go into the specification and definition of your project goals. For this task, I recommend using the SMART formula. No, we are not talking about the well-known car brand, but about a helpful formula to define your goals in a simple and understandable way.

    My main points and tasks:

« THERE‘S NOTHING THAT SPURS ME ON MORE THAN THESE WORDS: IT CAN‘T BE DONE. WHEN I HEAR THAT, I DO EVERYTHING TO MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE POSSIBLE. »

    HARALD ZINDLER

    7. WEBSITE OR WEBSHOP

After the One Million Idea has been defined, we move on to the next step, which is to define the online presence. Depending on the presentation and functionality of the website, there are many different content management systems to build a website or a web-shop.

Because of the many different offers, I recommend the CMS (Content Management System) WordPress for a rather text-based and simple website. The application is simple and also clearly arranged. However, if you have decided on a webshop, you should start with Shopify or Magento. There are no limits to the shop systems - from billing systems to analysis tools and much more. Here, Magento and Shopify have created a powerful and user-friendly product.

    8. DESIGN & THEMES

Another point that will keep you busy while building your website is the topic of design. Apart from the technical requirements imposed by the search engines, there are claims from the visitors, which decide on the behavior on the site, whether or not it comes to a conclusion. So, the presentation is also a big factor and is recorded as the first impression.

Here, I have another task for you: Visit ten to twenty websites and write down what you like and do not like about each one. This will give you a clearly structured list of the points you think are relevant.

For this analysis you can ask yourself the following questions:

    What is the first impression?

    How is the website structured?

    How is the design?

    How are the pictures?

Do I quickly get the information I am looking for?

    How is the customer management?

    What are the technical requirements?

8.1 Definition of the Advertising Page Structure

The website structure is one of the most important points to consider when planning. You need to think carefully about how you want your website to look, what the site should convey and what features it contains. For this reason, I recommend that you answer the following questions before you go any further:

    Who is my target group?

    How should my website look?

    What should my website convey?

Which contents should be shown in which categories?

8.2 Check Navigation Concept for Website

The navigation on the website is an important digital signpost to guide the visitors easily and quickly to their destination. But how can you ensure that your content, products and services are found by users? Sure, for you, the structure of your categories and the navigation is comprehensible but is it also understandable for your visitors?

    8.2.1 Card Sorting

In order to clarify the question of whether the desired navigation is understandable or whether existing navigation concepts should also be optimized, there is a simple option called Card Sorting.

With Card Sorting you divide your individual navigation points and write them down on a sheet of Post it paper. After you have done this, you find at least fifteen test persons and ask them to create a navigation. Now, the test persons will classify the individual navigation and category points according to their own understanding. Photograph the final result so that you can use it for later analysis. Again, I recommend that you use different visitor profiles as test subjects to get a clear picture.

You now see a clear line of how visitors would structure your website to find their way around. You can now use this analysis to design your navigation
