About this ebook

We've been taught so many odd, messed up things in our churches, and in our Bible studies, that it's making it harder to discern the difference between fact and fiction. This book is touching on a few of these topics. We've been preaching, and living only half of the true Gospel, for at least a quarter of a century; It's time for true believers to learn the whole of our Gospel, it's time for all believers to start walking in the right direction, we need to get back on the road God wants us to; as opposed by teachers, pastors or any other leader or lay person that practices what I call, superstitious religion. This book is packed full of good information that will help lead believers on this journey we’re all on. The Lord led me to write this book "The Wrong Direction" to help everyone who walks this walk with our Lord, my prayer is that this book will help increase the readers wisdom, bringing a greater revelation of the message of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus, of what he did, when he freely obeyed His Father, and gave His life, for much more than just forgiving us of our sins. The whole of our Gospel goes a lot further than what we've been taught. Also, my prayer is that all believers will take the time to do what we been urged to practice, in: 2nd Timothy 2:15 (KJV), Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

I began writing in my late teenage years. I had no intention of writing books and publishing them. The Lord placed on my heart to begin writing my first book in 2013; it took me over a year to write it. Many people have told me that when they started reading my first book “Broken Door”, it was hard for them to put it aside. Then the Lord gave me the unction to write my second book, “Faith is What?” Not long after I finished ‘Broken Door.’ ‘The Big Lie about Tattoos” is my third book as of this year 2016.I have worked in the ministry since 1985; I started preaching in prisons, in retirement homes and as a guest speaker for many churches. In addition, I started preaching out in the streets, at bars, parks, restaurants; I would bring my guitar to the parks and restaurants and sing songs that the Lord had me write. I was age 54; when the Lord led me to start writing books, I’m now 64; I’ve had some people tell me I’m just a keyboard preacher, but, I believe in that old saying,” The pen is mightier than the sword.” Comments are welcome, rather they are positive or negative. Thank YouMichael Dunhill

    CHAPTER 5-- THE FULL GOSPEL

    CHAPTER 1- THE BROAD-PATH

The way we choose to live our lives is based on logical deduction. We filter out what is impure and we keep the rest. This action leads us on a crooked path called, Superstitious Religion, In turn, we tend to let our walk with God become what we decide, not what God's will should be in our lives.

Allow me to help with the understanding of my statement above. First, let's look at the definition of the word Superstition It's a noun,

    1. It means a belief or notion, not based on reason or knowledge, in or of the ominous significance of a particular thing, circumstance, occurrence, proceeding, or the like.

    2. Also, it's a system or collection of such beliefs.

    3. A custom or act based on such a belief.

    4. It is an irrational fear of what is unknown or mysterious, especially in connection with religion.

    5. And it's any blindly accepted belief or notion.

    The scriptures tell us,

    Matthew 7:13 (KJV)

Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat.

The traditional message preached on this passage is that people are not walking the straight and narrow road of living a holy, separate from the world type life, thus, they are running the broad road to Hell is giving in to all their lusts and turning their backs on God. This message is almost always followed up with the rest of the passage found in,

    Matthew 7:14 (KJV) that reads,

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The message being taught here making the point that we as believers should live a holy life set apart from the world. We’re living a sin free life or at least doing our best on this narrow path; it's a rough path to walk. It's taught "If we purposely sin in any way, we will not be found on this path we will be one of the few that will not be there. I will touch on this whole passage in a later chapter; I just wanted to start with it to help make a point. Maybe you already understand what Matt, 7:13-14 is teaching, if not I will cover it later.

May I point out that looking at this passage meaning, as I described above will lead us to place our focus on working hard to not live a life of sin in order for us to escape Hell.

This kind of thinking can lead us into all kinds' of doctrines even some of the unbiblical kind. I've lived on this old earth for 61 years; I surrender my life to Jesus at the age of 28. For 33 years I've been living for the Lord, and I've seen a lot of messed up things going on in our Christian Churches. In the past years, our enemy (Satan) has gotten into the camp and has brought a lot of deception to our leaders, which have trickled down into the hearts of them that truly want to walk with the Lord in earnest.

The truth of the Gospel has become subjective, we are being led to trust our emotions, how we feel, we're being led further away from the true reason Jesus died for all of mankind and, we are being taught to stand firm in our deception not wavering, but of course the word deception is replaced with the word Truth. Satan has a stronghold he has succeeded in a lot of churches (Not all Thank God), but, a lot of them, Satan has replaced the true Gospel with getting people to seek power, victory over sin, seeking riches and fame. If we do this we'll have that, Satan says.
