    INTRODUCTION

    It is extremely difficult to have ADHD as a grown-up and it often leads to stress at work, in finances, relationships, organizational issues, decreased self-esteem, and for some, a tendency to abuse drugs. Although they have good intentions, grown-ups with ADHD tend to be late, scaly, or harder to relate with and may often have temper tantrums. It is often difficult to have a relationship with them. Understanding these difficulties is very helpful for friends and family. Often times, the sufferer cannot help these symptoms as they are part of the disorder.

    A grown-up who is having ADHD can become used to criticism and frustration from others, which is often hard for them. It is essential not to take any abusive action that people with ADHD do to be a personal offense. They probably wouldn't be late, irresponsible, or lost their favorite shirt if they hadn't had the disorder. A positive attitude complements them and encourages them to do things
