Wilde was found living on his own in the Ramapo Mountain State Forest when he was a young kid. The authorities had no idea how long Wilde has been there. A police officer named Oren Carmichael even compared Wilde's situation to Mowgli from the Jungle Book. Wilde has been discovered by two hikers named Don and Leslie Katz from New Jersey. Wilde can understand English; however, he has no idea about himself even his own name. Some hikers have reported before about the wandering feral boy or Little Tarzan. According to Chief Aurigemma, it was the strangest survival case they have encountered, especially they do not have an idea of how long the boy was staying there. This little boy grew up, joined the military and even learned special operations. Now that he is in his 40s, Wilde decided to went back to the woods away from the city.
