    William Kent Krueger's latest book titled, 'This tender land' is a companion book to his previous standalone novel titled 'Ordinary Grace.' The story is narrated by Odysseus O'Banion, referred to as Odie. The book starts as an old man, Odie O'Banion, narrates his past. Odie recites the tale of his escape along with his brother and two friends from the Lincoln school in Minnesota in the year 1932. He recites the journey undertaken by the four orphans to escape the Lincoln School, where Native American children are being tutored after being separated from their parents.
