    HORROR IN HARRISVILLE

    During the winter of 1970, Roger and Carolyn Perron wanted to find a home with more space for their five daughters, Andrea, Nancy, Christine, Cindy, and April. A farmhouse in rural Harrisville, Rhode Island, seemed to be the answer.

    The 200-acre property was known as the Old Arnold Estate. The farmhouse had 14 rooms, a spacious porch, and plenty of room outdoors for the girls to play. But the family quickly realized that something wasn’t right about their dream home. According to the family, they soon began to experience paranormal activity. Their story would eventually inspire the popular horror movie, The Conjuring.
