Waiting for Roo

The day my family got our foster pet Roo was a great day. Every pet we foster is special, but Roo was extra special. He was our first rabbit!

My dog, Ollie, ran into my bedroom early that morning. Yip! Yip! Yip! He wagged his tail. I was still in bed.

Hello, Ollie, I said with a smile.

My family and I adopted Ollie from Happy Tails Rescue. Someone had found him in a parking lot with no collar and no home. Now we are his forever family.

That is how we became a foster family for Happy Tails Rescue. We take care of pets until they find their forever homes. We’ve fostered dogs, cats, and even a bearded dragon!
