Acknowledgment
First, I would like to thank everyone for buying the book.
This book cost me more than just the last year of my life, this book almost killed me.
I know that you may think that this is an exaggeration, but it is not.
I am an extremely emotional man. Sometimes this is a blessing or a gift, other times it feels more like a curse.
I experience emotions so deeply that it affects my entire life. There were times in this past year when I was unable to move, curled up in a ball on the floor. These poems were my therapy to help myself through one of the most devastating times of my life. I lived through everything that is written here in this book. I know they say that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. In my case, it’s not true. My life has been destroyed a couple of times in the past. Each time the recovery has been harder than the time before. I fear the time when I will not be able to recover and be lost forever in my pain.
People like to believe that men should be stoic and unemotional. Even though most men generally try to not show it, we feel emotions the same as everyone else.
From the time I was a small child, I always felt that I had a guardian angel watching over me. It must have been my guardian angel that sent me a beautiful angel to save me. If it was not for this angel, I would not be here today to finish this book. We all have our demons from our past. Some extremely powerful demons lurk in the back of everyone’s mind. Do we give into them? Or do we fight them?
Each person has to decide this for themselves. If your demon is, or someone you know has the demon of addiction? This is the most powerful demon I have ever encountered. It can make parents sacrifice their own children. It
