About this ebook

The New Truth examines the heretical nature of the miracles of Jesus Christ and through it reveals a hidden code that offers an alternative meaning to those miracles. It also looks at the Book of Revelations and offers an explanation to the graphic detail enclosed therein. It examines the Baptism and the first death and first resurrection of the spirit as it is described through this second layer of meaning. The New Truth therefore becomes an alternative reality of truth of the writings of the New Testament with explanations and evidence as found in the scriptures of Jesus Christ and the disciples.

    CHAPTER ONE

    A BAPTISM OF SORTS

    40Years ago I considered Christianity, and I thought of all the doctrines in the world that fell under that umbrella. There was not one at that time that shone more than any other, for all had their faults and all had their glories. I could not pick on any one doctrine to be more correct or righteous than any other. I thought to myself at that time was Christ divided?

    1Co:1:13: Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

    While I pondered on this I was in the spirit to search out the truth of the matter and was driven by it to research Christianity for my own benefit. This began forty years ago and a similar spirit of seeking truth is still driving me today.

    The situation as I see it, is like this; Christianity sits on the verge of disaster. Its precepts are becoming meaningless to a growing audience of disinterested youngsters. The miracles that are preached fly in the face of science. In a secular age all this achieves is producing scepticism and mockery. The push for creationism further alienates sensible folk from becoming worshippers. To be a worshipper it is expected that one does not upset the way things are done or question the many heretical statements that are found within the Bible, not to mention impossible miracles such as the sun standing still.

    Jos:10:13: And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

    I wondered how Christianity could save face.

    How would it be possible to get to the truth of these miracles and not disrespect the establishment? It bothered me that miracles were, and still are, being reported, that made a mockery of scientific principles. The more I contemplated the truth of such things the more I was turned to feeling that at least some of the miracles that were claimed were in fact untrue. This troubled me because I knew of the teaching of Jesus Christ that said such things blasphemed the Holy Ghost from which there was no forgiveness.

    M't:12:31: Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

    M't:12:32: And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

    M'r:3:29: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

    Lu:12:10: And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

    Jesus Himself worked miracles but we know that it was against His desire to do so. At best He tolerated the miracles because of the huge peer pressure of the pressing crowds. I know this to be a fact because He said that virtue had gone out of Him whenever a miracle was claimed.

    M'r:5:30: And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

    Lu:6:19: And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.

    Lu:8:46: And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.

    Virtue is moral goodness and for this to leave Him shows His displeasure with miracles. It was no different for signs and wonders about His being the Messiah.

    M't:12:38: Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

    M't:12:39: But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

    M't:16:1: The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.

    M't:16:4: A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

    Jesus knew that seeking for a sign; as with the miracles, was based in their own vanity and idolatry. They had made out that God was some super powerful being that should be able to control the weather and the elements. Jesus knew that this was incorrect thinking. He came to us bearing simple but deep meaning parables.

    The thought occurred to me, This is where I would find the answers so it was to the parables that I turned.

    Jesus told the parable of the sower in which a sower went to sow his field. This parable is found in three of the four gospels.

    M't:13:3: And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

    M'r:4:3: Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

    Lu:8:5: A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.

    The meaning was held up because He said;

    M't:13:11: He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

    M'r:4:11: And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

    Lu:8:10: And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

    Even so He finally gives the meaning of the parable further into the gospels, He said;

    M't:13:18: Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

    M'r:4:14: The sower soweth the word.

    Lu:8:11: Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God

    The parable is this; the seed is the word of God, the sower is the Son of Man, the field is the hearts of the people in which the seed is sown. From this we learn that the ‘field of god’ is people and this is important because when we look into Adam and Eve we find that Adam was made from the dust of the ground. I wondered if the dust of the ground was the same as saying the dust of the field of god, which we know to be the hearts of the people of the world in which the seed of righteousness is sown. God’s ground is mankind. This was an epiphany to me.

    Ge:2:5: And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

    Ge:2:6: But there went up a mist (baptism or preaching) from the earth (Gods field mankind), and watered (preached) the whole face of the ground (Gods field-mankind).

    Ge:2:7: And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground (Gods field-mankind), and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

    In the text we see that a mist went up to water the whole face of the ground or field of god which is mankind. Could this ‘mist’ be referring to evangelism; something along the lines of Baptism which uses water to signify the spirit of life? If mankind is Gods ground then this would be sensible.

    There is also a reference to living waters in Zechariah 14;8 and again in John 4:10 hinting that life giving waters were sent from god. Is it possible we see this in Adam as well?

    Zec:14:8: And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

    Joh:4:10: Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest
