About this ebook

We are in a dispensation of grace, an era where all things are yours whether life, death, things present or things to come. Indeed, Jesus emphasized this when he said, as the days of Noah were so too shall the days of the son of man be. The Lord Jesus having reminded us that if he so wished he could command 12 legions of angels.

In a tenacious fashion, the young minister Ntando Msomi unpacks this subject of Angels in an engaging way by dissolving doubts, shewing of hard sentences, and deciphering mysteries in a palatable manner. Look no further an angel is already beside you.

It was the month of September the very afternoon after my Chemistry intervention lessons at Avoca Secondary School with the tenacious Dr. Thasmai Dhurumraj on rates of reactions and chemical equilibriums. In my bedroom, which also functioned as my study room because it had a desk, chair, bright lamp, and next to it, my seldomly touched bookshelf. While occupied by revision tasks from school given to us for homework, my spirit was enlightened, and there, I stood amongst spirit beings on my left, right, behind, and in front of me carrying swords, and they looked like an army. These angels did not allow anyone to do me harm. Before, I was a choir of constantly traveling angels bringing gold and resources from around the world for ministry. An angel huge in stature stepped forth and said to me without moving his mouth, This is for spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to nations around the globe. After this enlightenment, my study room was so real again, so I rushed to sit on my chair to catch my breath, and the fear that had guzzled me began to diminish in minor continuous dosages. You might be asking yourself,

    What language do angels speak,

What are the types of angels according to biblical truth,

    How can you see angels,

What should be the relationship between angels and Christians,

All your meekness will be satisfied in the truth unfolding as you read through this book.

    Origin of angels

In Isaiah Chapter 14, we encounter scriptures informing us of a time of events before Adam was formed,

    Isaiah 14:12

How art thou have fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

The word Lucifer means light barrier or light-bringer; this word appears only in the book of Isaiah. It is important to understand son of the morning refers to angels, to which Lucifer is also included. Jesus later concurs this scripture by the prophet, Isaiah in the book of Luke let us read,

    Luke 10:18

And he said unto them, I beheld Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

The word Satan is the word satani in the Hebrews, which means adversaries or opponents. Therefore, satan is a job description of tasks he assumed rather than it being his name; the name is Lucifer meaning light barrier.

To appetize your spirit, note that the Bible says Jesus was the light of men.

    John 1:4-8

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

He was not that Light but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

Lucifer is the light bringer, but we hardly know about the people that he brought light to because he could not have brought the light to our Lord since in God there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

    James 1:17

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

I am in no way comparing our Lord to Lucifer, but this will later feed into our discussions.

Back to origin of angels. The book of Job is the oldest book of the Bible written 400 years before the Lord used Moses. But the book of Genesis contains the most past story recorded by Moses as it was revealed to him by the Lord. The book of Job tells us that the Lord created the foundations of the earth, and angels referred to as the morning stars and sons of God shouted for
