Foreword
My utmost reverence to the Senior Pontiff of Pejavara Adhokshaja matha Pujyashree Sri Vishvesha theertha Swamiji and The Junior Pontiff of Sri Pejavara Adhokshaja Matha, Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji, who graciously supported me in all respects to prepare this book on cow’s greatness. The speeches by Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji in the CD on Srimad Bhagavatham (Proshtapadi) were guiding stars for this humble attempt. Several points from internet and books on Vedas were referred and presented here in a simple manner for all types of readers. I thank profusely my enterprising and illustrious friend Sri V.S. Narayan Rao, of Sri Pejavara Matha, for his encouragement with ideas, hints and moral back up. I also thank Sri Prasanth and Sri Hari who escorted me to the Neelavara Goshala along with the revered Swamiji. I thank Sri. L. Srinivasamurthy for initial DTP Works and Sri. K. Ganapathy Bhat, Vidhwan, Sri Pejavara Matha, Chennai for fine tuning the fine DTP presentation and conversion into a neat Garland of Flowers, page after page for printing perfection.
I thank once again His Holiness Pujyashree Vishvesha Theertha Swamiji and Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji without whose blessings this venture could not have been materialized.

Conclusion
Introduction
Soon after birth, all of us are fed by our Mother’s breast milk upto 2 years. From 3rd year onwards, and even while she does not have adequate milk; cow assumes the role of our mother and feeds us until we breathe the last, till our last journey by her milk. Only from this milk, we get Curd, Butter, Buttermilk and Ghee. She is rightly called as
Gomatha. Hence we must admit
We have two mothers"
A help in need is always a help indeed
A voice from voiceless
Experience divine grace by caring/helping destitute/deranged and down- trodden. All those who are born, until their death, one way or the other way, they carry on their task, just to satisfy their stomach. But that is not considered and counted as worthy of life.
One who, apart from his own life, makes others thrive happily, is aptly called Noble life of a person
says Sri Vishvesha Theertha Swamiji
Cows Anatomy / Cow – Human Genome Comparison
Scientific America
, a leading magazine has given a complete Cow Human Genome comparison. Among the 768 genes on the cattle RH map, 687 genes or 89.5% had putative human orthologs. Among the 687 mapped genes, 548 genes had human GB4 RH mapping information. 22 were mapped exclusively on the G3 panel and 68 had human cytogenetic assignments exclusively.
All cow chromosomes with the possible exception of BTA9 and BTA23 have centromere repositioning relative to human chromosomes. Four cattle chromosomes show complete conservation of syntegy with their human homolog. The four are: BTA12 and HSA13, BTA19 and HSA17, BTA24 and HSA18, BTAX and HSAX. For all of these chromosomes multiple rearrangements were observed. BTA3 was the only cow chromosome that showed no internal rearrangements when compared with the homologous segment on HSA1. Fifteen cattle chromosomes are seen to be comprised of genes found on only one human chromosome.
Cow milk is the most compatible with human mother’s milk than any other species in existence. This is because the DNA of the cow was specifically constructed to be harmonious with mammalian human DNA. So it can be clearly understood that cow DNA was designed so that humans could benefit from cows products being milk, cheese, butter, cream and yoghurt. This knowledge is highly esoteric and confidential and incomprehensible to those outside the purview of the Vedic culture. It can only be known by that segment of society that is spiritually developed enough
