    In memory of our ancestors

    Q: NAMASTE, when is Pitra-Paksha starting?

    A: Human birth awards us three debts, according to Hinduism. They are a debt to God, a debt to sages and saints, and a debt to our ancestors and parents.

    The following rituals for Pitra-Paksha or Shradh are important. It is observed so that the soul of an ancestor can attain peace and liberation.

    This year, it will begin on September 29 and end on October 14.
