About this ebook
In this short story, Hermy is a life-long loser, that is, until he met and fell in love with Evelyn Payne. She told him that she would help him get his life on track and that he would be a success. All she asked in return was his immortal soul. “You’ve got it, now, and forever!” he answered. She molded and advised him, even changed his name to Nick, which is the name of a strong leader. Soon he was a confident and successful achiever in his field. However, when she asked him to pay his debt, all hell broke loose!
