Prologue

Time: 11:40 pm,  The  Canadian Lab – Ontario – Lucent, the chief virologist  -  closed the door and made his way to the main table in his office room to wrap his work for the day and retire .Before he could think what had happened, he felt a sharp object tearing through his back!

He instinctively pulled away and saw a hulk rushing towards him with a strange-looking dagger; he had milliseconds to react. The hulk had closed the gap so that she could stab again deep in the chest.  In self-defense, he moved back and he picked the small knife from the table and as the hulk moved towards him, he thrust it into her, which rubbed her upper right hand.

She jumped back a little surprised – as she did not expect him to react.  His assassin was Covered with a long cloth, with the swastika sign covering the face. The killer was unusually tall, pale skin and bloody  red eyes.

She demanded – where is the virus!

Lucent pleaded - I have no idea what you are talking about! I know nothing of any virus!

The female Assassin demanded- If you say the truth I will spare you!

Lucent thought carefully and said – Well, I will let you know what I know. - And he spoke about the location of the virus, which he had rehearsed several times with his other interns!

The Assassin gave a wry smile and said – Well... This is the same answer we found with the other interns!  I have eliminated them.

- What other interns? - Lucent felt fearful.

- The other seven!

It was impossible Lucent was speechless thinking about them.

The assassin moved forward. She knew where her object of interest lay. She moved to the small refrigeration at the corner and opened it she found a pack with two tubes.  She carefully placed them in her ice pack and wrapped it in a paper and put it in his rucksack bag.

The Chie, f virologist ,Lucent had already taken a defensive position and the assassin  knew it would be futile to attack, and within minutes the other lab staff should be there.

For the last time, she stared at the dying virologist.:In seconds he will be dead, not from the wound but the poison.

She limped out of the balcony into the darkness.

Chapter one -  I

"I am Xi, the Master, governing the citizens of the greatest nation in the world. I am an absolute sovereign. My word is the law. The National Constitution gives me absolute power for life. I am elected by the unanimous vote of the Politburo, my Politburo. There are no more term limits, per unanimous vote of the Politburo, my Politburo. Why are they my Politburo? I have annihilated minorities who were once citizens of my country: Buddhists, Christians, and Muslims. I have separated children from their parents and placed them in reorientation camps, transforming their minds to follow my dictates; follow me. I am now their father.

Representation in the Politburo is through a nominating process - I nominate them.

Politburo members then unanimously approve my choice. It is the most efficient. Now that there are no term limits, it is rare that I ever need to nominate a ‘candidate’ for membership.

Students and anyone under the age of 35 isn't allowed visas. They could become socially and politically infected and not return, so they simply do not leave. If they ever did return, I would probably have to have them either executed or ‘reoriented’. Execution is usually the best option, since whenever a returnee is put to death for

‘crimes against the Master’, applications for visas of any kind drop precipitously.

My national policy is to manufacture duplicates of Western/European products, causing billions in losses. I flood the copies into other nations' markets, whose consumers have no loyalty to their local industries. They send their money to me and wonder why their local employers close and layoff.

I have initiated an aggressive policy to seize my neighboring nation's lands -  modern Lebensraum, needed for my country's growing  population: oil deposits, seaports, infrastructure.

I changed the Tsang Po River's course, after which I murdered a neighboring nation, Tibet. I did that. I gave the order and it happened.  My most loyal people dominate key areas. I have started multiple media campaigns. Goebbels's lies have become the truth. He was correct, the more outlandish the lie, the more often repeated, the more likely it is believed. The Jews in Nazi Germany were easy to victimize. They were labeled as saboteurs and greedy profiteers. Hitler correctly believed no-one particularly cared for an unpatriotic religious and racial class, but who would have guessed he could successfully send eight million of them to their deaths?

Many successes. He could be a right wing politic and my color is red, but we are alike – Visionary politicians , protecting our nation.

Yet, I have not fulfilled my dream - to be the leader of a singular Global Order. Forgive me, my countrymen. I sacrifice some of you so our nation shall rise above all others. I have taken both extreme and severe  action. Victory is imminent."
