CHAPTER ONE

Dude, I’m gonna be in town for a few days, wanna hang out? Josh shifted his phone as he walked through JFK airport in New York.

Eddie was in his room folding laundry. Hell yeah! Hey, Nelson moved out, so we have an extra bedroom now. Come stay here. Oh, and Andy got the weekend off. It’s perfect.

Sweet! We can go to that strip club again. Josh laughed. Those girls were all over us once they realized who I was.

They’d met when Eddie had worked as the night concierge at Josh’s Manhattan hotel. They soon discovered they had a lot in common. In no time, they became friends. Every time Josh was in New York, Eddie received a call.

Are you done shooting for the season?

Yeah. Josh stopped near the baggage claim carousel for his flight. We had some crazy nights. His mind flashed to the filming of the cable reality television show: Anything Goes. Man, they caught me fucking this hot Japanese chick. Didn’t think they had cameras on the beach.

Eddie snickered. Not the first time I’m sure. Bet the women hate that they blur out your dick.

I’ve gotten fan mail asking for a full-frontal shot. Josh glanced up to make sure no one had recognized him. The network would get fined big time if they didn’t block out the good stuff. I wonder if they’ll ask permission to put out an uncensored video. You wouldn’t believe what doesn’t get on the show. My roommates are crazier than me.

Whoa, really? Eddie had seen Josh in action more than once. If this gig ever ends, are you gonna try for a movie role?

Josh grinned. That’s the plan. I’m hoping for something better than those B movies I used to do. The carousel started up. I gotta get my bags. See ya in about an hour.

After Eddie put his phone down, he knocked on his roommate’s door. Andy, Josh’s comin’ ’round again. I told him he could stay here.

Whatever, Andy mumbled as loud as he could. Half-asleep from working the night shift, he hadn’t understood a word. His eyes closed again.

Eddie shook his head at the minimal response. Why’d he take that job? He’d switched to days the same day Andy got a gig as a DJ in a strip club. Guess I’m cleaning up alone. Andy did more housework than him, so he had no right to complain.

To make a good impression, Eddie hurried to straighten up the apartment. Then he cleaned the floors and did the dishes. Just as he set the last glass in its cabinet, the doorbell rang. Damn. Thought I had more time. Oh well. Most guys didn’t care about clean, but Josh had a spotless place because of his housekeeper.

Eddie opened the apartment door and smiled. That was fast.

Hey, man. Josh stepped inside and gave Eddie a half-hug. You stopped working out. He poked at Eddie’s slight beer belly.

I gotta get back to that. How ya been? Eddie took his bag.

Busy as hell. Josh dropped on the couch. If I didn’t have a few months off every year, I’d fall apart. He sighed, relieved to be off his feet.

Guess I should find you a chick to take your troubles away. Eddie ran through all the women he knew. Josh’s type wasn’t too hard to locate, easy and hot.

That’d be nice. One that lets me do whatever I want to her and cures me of all that ails me. Josh leaned his head back and felt a twinge in his pants. The week without sex seemed like forever. Just order one and surprise me. He laughed. My dick needs it bad. Tell her I cum bucketsful.

TMI, man. Eddie cringed at the image.

Hey, where’s Andy?

Eddie nodded at Andy’s door. In his room. He has to work tonight, but somehow he got Friday and Saturday off. We can party all weekend.

Andy woke up to voices in the living room. He glanced at his phone. 5:55? He groaned and laid back on the pillow still exhausted. His alarm would go off at 6:00. He had to pick up his sister, Kelsee, at eight. That left an hour to get ready and wake up. He forced himself out of bed to find clothes.

Two rooms away, Josh asked Eddie, Can we order pizza? I haven’t had New York pizza in months. Right on time, Josh’s stomach growled. He pulled out his wallet and handed Eddie three twenties. I’m buying.

Eddie took the money, then knocked on Andy’s door again. You gonna eat pizza with us before work?

Sure, Andy replied as he tossed his pants on the bed. Suddenly confused, he opened the door. Wait! Who’s us? You got a chick here this early?

With a laugh, Eddie shook his head. I told you Josh was comin’ an hour ago.

Dude, I was sleeping. I had no clue what you said. Andy sighed. Get mushrooms on one and some Mountain Dew. I gotta wake the fuck up.

Eddie smirked. You should start drinking coffee. That shit’s bad for you.

But it works. Andy followed his roommate to the living room. Hey, Josh. Good to see ya again. He held out a hand.

Josh shook Andy’s hand and smiled. You too. I’m kinda hoping you’ll hook me up with a chick. I heard you work in a hot club. What d’ you say? He envisioned tall, busty blondes dropping their clothes for him.
