Visitors’ behavior assessed by the animals of Kruger Park
A drawing of a person Description automatically generatedSomething very strange happened and the animals of Kruger National Park were pondering. For the first time ever since opening its gates for overnight visitors in 1928, the Kruger National Park on 25 March 2020 closed its gates to all visitors and commenced an eerie, silent, isolated winter sleep.
The animals started to show strange behavior. They became curious and very bold, investigating, exploring, and searching all over for the humans who over a period of ninety years integrally became part of their existence. The animals became restless. They were missing these creatures with their shining armor. So, King Lion gave instructions to form search parties and find these creatures. It was agreed that with proper searches the missing visitors would easily be recognized when detected. After all, their habits, manners, and characteristics over decades very much started to resemble those of the permanent inhabitants of the Park. King Lion’s very specific orders, directives, and guidelines to detect the lost visitors in accordance with their different behavioral patterns went out. And the search began.
You're right, dear reader – this guide is about you, and who you are when visiting Kruger. But yes, very much also about wildlife in the Kruger.
