She grew up seeing her mother constantly violated and abused by her father. At some point in her life, her sister had gone through the same faith as her mother. She had suffered in the hands of her husband also. These recurrences had made he chose to never trend on the path of love.
However, things take a turn when she meets Jack Kingston. Her reasoning and thoughts about men takes a different turn.
