About this ebook
E.L. Grubbs doesn't like to write about the conventional. If it's an entertaining unconventional read you're looking for, you've hit the spot.
In Volume 1 of CRAZY STORIES, the author shares a story that ... yes, you read correctly ... is kinda crazy. This first volume portrays the kind of crazy that will shock your sensibility and tickle your funny bones. Be warned, though! This ain't for "people with sticks up their butts" (Quote: Star Lord).
The author gained inspiration for this short story from one of the many ancient superstitions and beliefs found in Asia. As you might know, Asia is steeped in mystique fueled by the myriad of races, cultures, languages, age-old superstitions and mythical creatures. Underneath its colorful exterior is a vast unknown - even to Asians.
EL Grubbs
E.L. Grubbs doesn't like to write about just the conventional. Conventional is boring. Her works border on fantasy, surrealism and magical realism. Her philosophy: why read fiction when it surrounds mundane everyday life? Being a well-traveled person, she gets inspiration for her works from both the West and the East thus catering to a worldwide readership. E.L. Grubbs likes to weave little messages into each piece of fiction meant to make readers ponder and to open their minds to possibilities.

About the Author
Always ask for forgiveness before you do your business in the jungle,
Faizal’s grandmother used to tell him when she was alive. But did he listen?
It was just another fishing-hiking trip with his buddies during their 2-week semester break. They decided to go to a waterfall near Zul’s granduncle’s house in a remote village. To get there they had to drive an hour from Ipoh town then hike for an hour from the village to the waterfall. According to Zul not many people frequent the place so it was still pristine.
The weather was perfect. The whole week before had been sunny with clear skies so the trail wasn’t muddy. Faizal, Zul, Rizal and Zack enjoyed the hike without getting hounded by leeches. Being city boys, they were squeamish about crawlies of the squirmy kind.
The waterfall was just as Zul described – crystal clear water, near devoid of
