I take a deep breath, straightening my skirt as I step out of the elevator. It’s my first day at my new job working for one of my father’s closest friends, Mark Logan. I’ve known Mark for years. He’s a nice guy with a hell of a lot of money who loves nothing more than to spoil whatever woman he has on his arm for that day.

He played hard, but he worked ever harder. My father always talked about how Mark built his business from the ground up. Word on the street was that he was a difficult man to work for because he expected so much from his staff. To say that I’m terrified would be an understatement.

Mark had made it very clear when my father begged him to give me a chance that I wasn’t going to receive any special treatment. In fact, I’m half expecting the guy to go out of his way to make things difficult for me, just to amuse himself, because that’s the kind of thing he’d do. Regardless, I’m determined to make this work. I need this job, and I’m prepared to do whatever it takes to keep it.

I push through the doors of Logan Enterprises, expecting to see his receptionist sitting there, but her seat is empty. I glance over at the closed door of his office and wonder what I’m supposed to do. Do I sit here and wait, or do I knock on his door and announce my arrival? After an internal debate, I walk over to his door and rap very gently on it. My hands shake as I wait for acknowledgement and when I hear what sounds like a come in, I crack open the door.

Oh God.

My eyes widen, and I’m sure what I thought was come in was actually I’m coming. I think I’ve just figured out why his secretary isn’t at her desk. It’s because she’s sprawled out, naked, on his. I stand in the doorway, panicking, convinced they’ve seen me and I’m not sure what to do. It’s like my feet are frozen, and I can’t look away from the sight in front of me.

The door is only open a couple of inches, but now I have a dilemma. If I close the door, I’m terrified it will make a noise. But, if I stay here, he is bound to notice me. I don’t know how to get out of this situation without drawing attention to myself. It’s my first day and the last thing I want to do is make it known that I’ve walked in on my boss fucking his secretary.

Panicked, I leave the door as it is, and back away, but as I do, his booming voice drives through the silence of the room, making me jump.

On your knees, on the desk, he barks.

I watch, wide eyed, as she does as she’s told, propping herself up on the desk in front of him. She’s naked, but he’s completely dressed. I wish I didn’t, but I find that so sexy. He’s totally in control, and she’s completely at his mercy.

I inch closer again, unable to draw myself away. My heart pounds because I’m terrified he’s going to catch me, but the desire to find out what he’s going to do next is stronger than the fear of being caught.

He opens a lower drawer in his desk and pulls out a blindfold, wrapping it firmly around her eyes. He then pulls out something I don’t recognize. He places it at her mouth, forcing it between her lips, and I realize it’s a gag.

Shit. My heart races. This is so dirty and something I never would’ve thought he would be into. The few times I’ve met him at gatherings, like my parent’s parties, he was charming, mysterious, and quiet.
