About this ebook

I tried to avoid contact with his piercing blue eyes but they were like a magnet, constantly drawing me back in. The man was gorgeous by all accounts and I couldn’t resist picturing those white muscles wrapped around my mocha colored curves.

But I was a good girl. Any man who could invoke the types of thoughts that he did without even so much as a word must be bad news. As I got onto the plane I was relieved that I’d never have to be melted by his gaze again.

Or at least that’s what I thought. Upgraded to first class, I took my seat beside him. This was a man who got everything he wanted, and today he was craving some curvy dark chocolate.

First Class

My iPad died.

Just what I needed in the airport while waiting for my flight. With my only source of entertainment succumbing to the low battery, my gaze went to the other passengers sitting at the gate.

Most of the commuters travelling to New York with me were slumped over, as bored as I was. At least we only had another hour to go and we would be on our way. The flight from Dallas was only three and a half hours and then I would be home.

It was nice visiting my family in the Lone Star State. But there were only so many days I could spend with my four siblings before I remembered why I had moved away in the first place.

My gaze fell on a man sitting a few rows of chairs in front of me. Not for any other reason except he was staring back at me. Even when I caught him he didn’t look away, holding my gaze long enough to make me feel awkward.

I looked away abashedly, embarrassed to be caught staring, too. Clearly he didn’t have the same problem. I kept my gaze moving but it kept flicking back to him – pulled like a magnet.

He was gorgeous.

Light blonde hair shone even under the dull fluorescent lights. His blue eyes were the lightest shade of sapphire I had ever seen. I guessed his age to be about late thirties. He had the presence of someone powerful, someone not afraid to take what they wanted, and he was looking my way like he wanted to own me.

An involuntary shiver ran down my spine as I pictured those powerful white arms around my chocolate colored skin.
