Blake Preston’s blue eyes opened as the Los Angeles sun poured into his mansion’s second story windows. He looked down at the Rolex laid out on his bedside table.

Mm, is it time to get up already? Jennifer Jones Baker, the hottest actress of the summer said from the other side of his bed.

Blake’s smiled as he turned to the gorgeous woman next to him. As he looked at Jennifer he thought the last director he’d contracted should have used this exact set up for her morning wake up scene. She looked good enough to eat. He strapped his Rolex onto his wrist then put a hand through his sandy brown hair. As he moved around he caught Jennifer looking at his arms and chest in the morning light. She propped her head up and watched him begin to move for the day.

You are so damn attractive, she said. I’m not sure I can let you out of bed this early without some sort of bedroom tariff.

No bedroom tariffs this morning, Blake said. I’ve got a family meeting in New York later today and it’s the kind of thing I can’t be late for.

What if you were to stay just a little bit longer? Jennifer tipped her head and let her hair fall over her shoulder. Blake looked at his watch again. Quickly he did a little mental calculation that he wouldn’t necessarily be late if he pushed his flight back one hour. What harm could it really do if he got a little morning exercise?

Hold that thought, he said as he picked up his cell and walked naked out onto his balcony. His mansion had been well designed to keep the prying eyes of the paparazzi away. Although if they did get a shot of Blake naked it certainly wouldn’t hurt business.

He hit speed dial to the pilot of his plane.

Mr. Preston, his pilot said after the first ring.

Joe, I need to make an adjustment to our schedule today.

Anything Mr. Preston.

Blake smiled and wondered if Jennifer would be saying the same thing in a few minutes. I’m held up, could we push the flight back by an hour?

Absolutely, Mr. Preston. Anything else for you this morning?

Would it be possible to get some of that fresh sushi you had for me last time? Also, a New York Times?

Blake hung up the phone and jumped onto the bed with a large growl. Jennifer shrieked with laughter. We have exactly one hour, Blake said.
